The concierge guy should be more friendly; put a smile please. And the elevator; not for people with claustrophobic - tiny and only 1. Into the room, smell like leaking water. The toilet/bathroom, yeah the water leaking, the marble floor not clean well…

I’ve been waiting for almost 1 hour to just check in. I was tired from a train ride from Johor to Kelantan about 15 hours and now I’d to wait yet again for just my room. I’m disappointed. Please review this hotel.

I highly recommend Dynasty Inn to Budget Travelers. If you are a budget traveler and looking for a decent accommodation with buffet breakfast, then you have two choice, 1. Dynasty Inn 2. Crystal Lodge. I stayed both hotels and happy with both (If you want to pay RM 130 and do not compare it with RM 250++ hotels then it is a good choice . I paid RM 130 and happy with the value I received ) 1. Great Location ( near city center ) 2. Simple and Tasty Buffet breakfast 3. Very Clean Room and Toilet 4. Spacious Room 5. Free Newspaper 6. Good Customer Service If you are on a budget and two people want to share one room than it is a good choice ( we stayed 2 adult and 2 kids so great value for us, If you are single , then you can find cheaper hotel online ) Highly Recommended

If you want to shop at Wakaf Che Yeh for a night and have a good seafood dinner, then this is a good place to stay at. The night bazaar is pretty happening till the wee hours of the morning. The rooms are tiny but relatively clean. Matchbox size. Adequate for a short stay. Don't expect too much. Hardly any toiletries. Bring your own.

We had only been in the hotel for less than a minute and the staff started lying to us, the first of many. The room smelt of smoke with an overpowering stretch of damp and fowl plumbing, it is the first time we have had to go out to buy air freshener for a room. The room was not equipped as described on Expedia, when I asked for the equipment they told me my favorite lie, that Expedia had written the room spec. After showing them how ridiculous their suggestion was they told me they would ring the manager, another lie. After some time I had not heard back from them so I went back to reception told them I would stay there until the manager came to speak to me, the issue was partly resolved. However the room was still a depressing prison like room with no natural light or fresh air. Inferior room but in no way a superior room. Breakfast is difficult to fully describe, the food was inedable and the tea / coffee undrinkable. All in all staying here was a very unpleasant experiance avoid if you don't want the same, it truly is a Nasty hotel.

The room was okay as expected for budget hotel. The thing is there lots of dog at the parking.... the room for 2 was okay. At kota baharu hotel and registration office at different place. But its not that far. 5 minutes from registration office. As room for 3 people and above theres a pool there at the apartment.

i stayed a night in the hotel for business trip. Bad things: 1) The receptionist told me that NO FORMAL RECEIPT would be given if the guest books the hotel through agoda or expedia. ( I booked it through expedia). The formal receipt will have to be requested from agoda or expedia. I tried to reason with her that other hotels in Kota Bharu such as al Inshirah Inn and Crystal Lodge can provide me with formal receipt even though i booked it with agoda. She said that this is the hotel policy. I only received a tax invoice with no hotel letterhead which will have caused me problem when claiming the accommodation fee. 2) I am a non smoker but i get a SMOKING ROOM. I was greeted with cigarette smell upon entering the room. 3) OLD FURNITURE. You will feel nostalgic as the furniture will remind you of some of your old uncle or aunty house built in 1970 to 1980. 4)NOISY. As the bathroom windows are facing with each other, i could actually hear the conversation and tv by another uncle stayed in neighbouring room. 5) NO HOT WATER SUPPLY in shower. 6)INADEQUATE SOCKET for electrical appliances 7)POOR MAINTENANCE. The latch behind the door was unable to function and i worried if there would be someone entering my room at night. The bathroom door was unable to closed, you will have to slam it very hard to close it tightly. Good things: 1) The receptionist is friendly. 2) Ample parking space. 3) Room is old but cleanliness is acceptable. 4) wifi is able to reach each room but speed is slow. 5) Air cond is functioning well but a little bit noisy because the compressor noise from outdoor unit can be heard. 6) Strategic location as it is situated closed to old town. Recommendation: 1) Business traveler who wishes to book with agoda or expedia - NOT RECOMMENDED 2) Other traveler - unless no other hotels - NOT RECOMMENDED I am giving a very terrible remarks about this hotel because i feel that the management is not taking the complaints seriously. You should always try to improve yourself and have more friendly policy for the customers.

Very expensive for what it is ! Pillows and sheets were dirty, aircon noisy and breakfast really bad. We stayed there for one night and it was enough. Rip off. The hotel is located in the centre of Kota Bharu but If you can avoid going to this city then do it ... I'm used to go to backpackers places and this is a backpacker hotel pretending to be a hotel !

Realise this is a budget hotel therefore did not have high expectations however would expect the hotel to be clean. Room dated and dirty, had booked in for a week but left after one night!! Had a room on the front and was kept awake all night by traffic, not the hotels fault I know. Such a shame as staff very pleasant and great location good.

checked in last week on 30th Jan 2015 to visit my friends family and helped them to clean their house from flood mess. First, I checked agoda the price is RM98. When I called the hotel staff said it cost RM128 per night. Then I asked them why online is more cheaper, the staff said it all the same price because online not included the taxes. Okay fine, I booked through phone coz I dont like the online hassle since I have to register + credit card etc etc... But when I got my bill during my checkout it stated the tax only RM11. You do the math Second, when I checked in they didnt inform me that they having a renovation. They gave me the room 504 level 5. That afternoon I can hear they hammering accross the room I couldnt even get a nap. That night, above my room is the rooftop cafe/breakfast/dinner small hall. Amazingly, they preparing the breakfast buffet by 5.30am and I can hear foosteps and tables and chairs being organized at that early hour. I forced myself to get more sleeps after the tiring day. Also I can hear the uncle snores from the other room. So loud. To be more dramatic, I wake up late for the FREE breakfast almost couldnt make it in time (7am-10am) I found out just 'bihun' + ayam goreng kunyit and nasi putih left and few unappealing slices of fruits . It was very simple breakfast that you can find along the streets. About the room, the pillow was dirty but they manage to hide it with white pillow case. You can easily see the dirt spot on the bedsheet (see pictures). I guess after watching too much on "Hotel Impossible" makes me more meticulous on hotels services and cleanliness. No HOT WATER!! (see pictures) Power plug, ONLY ONE! So you cant charge your phone and laptop at the same time. Talk about laptop, the internet was much more disaster than the flood. Its connected but no internet service. What??? And remember to ask for the password when you at the counter. They dont have room-to room / lobby / helpdesk phones. Also they didnt gave it to me when I was checking in. Its 2015, Who doesnt need an internet connection? The hotel bathroom rather a big disappointment and cost me a blood memory. Real blood. RED blood. In the morning, I was "news reading" if you got what i mean, when finished I stood up, I didnt realize the toilet seat was cracked and it "bite" my back to bleed! I told this to the staff as I walked out and they just smile.. Take note, the hose pipe was on the awkward position too.
