We stayed at Suria for one night on our trip through Malaysia. It had hot springs which was fun to try out. Rooms are clean and beds are hard but ok. We had diner AT the restaurant and while the waiter didn't spreak English and all went wrong the diner was nice and tastefull.

I stay here for 1 night only. The room is not really clean. They give me a key first to check the room for standard room(RM80-). The room is smelly and no window for fresh air. So I take the room for RM112 and its much better. For me its ok to stay here because the parkson mall and the bus station is veryyy near and you don't have to walk really much. A lot of shop nearby too. Berbaloi laaa..

Pros- location (next to the central bus station, shopping), free wifi, price (70RM double, air con, private bath) Cons- dirty carpet, a mini fridge (unplugged) that seemed to be the main source of a very strong and pungent odor !

I'm currently staying at the hotel so everything in this review is fresh news! Everyrthing seemed to be ok at the hotel when I checked in and the women at the reception were very helpful. NONETHELESS, when sleeping time arrived (that is to say 1 hour ago), hardly had I turned the light down that a big cockroach was running on the floor! DAMN! I decided to leave it under the bed, where it had hidden, and to sleep with the light on... I read my book in order to fall asleep, and when I looked right before me the enormous cockroach was on the wall!!!! I went to the reception and a guy gave me another room. I checked the room to see if everything was ok, and I put myself to bed. But in the dark I started to hear something moving behind the dressing... I turned the light on and... guess what? So I went back to the reception and the guy seemed very annoyed by me... Anyway he gave me a third room (dirty, by the way) from which I am now writing this review. I pray to be able to sleep now, but I have little hope...…

The hotel is right in the city centre. Opposite the bus stand and near the taxi stand, close to shopping, food, and just a walk away from the few attractive spots. The room is quiet okay but the carpeting is old

The hotel is right opposite the bus stand and near the taxi stand, close to shopping, food, etc. The rooms are smelly and the carpeting is old. The receptionist did allow us to look at some more rooms and choose. There was absolutely no ventilation in these rooms. There was hot water. Barely OK place to stay (we paid RM85).

In April 2013, me and my family go to Perhentian Island and on our last day in Kelantan, we decided to stay at Suria Hotel Kota Bharu. We are told that the room will be ready or we can check in after 12.30pm. However, after 2.30pm, one of the room I have book ( I book 2 family room ) is not ready till now. So, I am asking her many times and what she did only to say " it was not ready, please wait" with a very rude manners. Hello! We are your customers and it is your fault that we have to wait sooooo long till we get our room. It is fair to us? She dont even says sorry to us. And the worst thing we already pay! When the room ready, we go to the room and very dissappointed because the room was very smelly, not very clean, the toilet also look very old and the aircon also not that cold.. we pay RM130 per room and it was not cheap! Seriuosly, I dont suggest everyone to go to this hotel. Even it is a budget hotel but they must maintain a clean room at least. But, the receptionist really need to do something on her BAD ATTITUDE. Lucky, we dont even stay one night at here. We go to the airport at 8pm and I think that's the last time I go to Kota Bharu. Thanks.…
