Оставались на 2 ночи в этом отеле. Так как были уставшие пришлось остаться. Отель и сам номер очень грязные, белые стены давно не белые, клубки пыли и мусора, общие ванная и туалет в печальном состоянии - грязно и явно давно не обрабатывали, постельное белье не свежее и должно быть списано, спинка кровати живёт отдельно от кровати и шатается. Номер как маленькая клетка, чтобы зайти и сразу лечь. Перегородки из гипсокартона, поэтому мы прекрасно слышали, как храпел наш сосед. Буквально перед отъездом нашли рядом другой отель за меньшие деньги - свежий и чистый...

no reception, no security, dirty all around, shared bathroom was very dirty. I was not expecting that much. when I arrived there was nobody in charge. I had to wait for someone to come and pick me up. there is no window in the rooms which was not mentioned at all. do not ever go there!

I arrived late in the afternoon. And i've been looking for the main door during at least 20 minutes. The "main" door is actually hidden in a little street with nothing write on it (Thanks to the taxi drivers who helped me). There is no reception desk. The "reception" is a room ... Some people from the hostel sent me 2-3 text messages during the day to know what time i was coming in. I gave them my bus schedule in the first message. Basic bathroom. Clean showers. Small room. I had airCon who was working well. Nothing more. If you're travelling by bus with Transnasional, the bus station is 5 mins walk from the hostel. That's cheap. But this place is not professionnal at all. You can find better.

Overall the guesthouse was quite surprisingly nice with the little money i paid. I paid for RM25 for a single bedroom and I was surprised to find a tv, toilet slippers and some space and sejadah for solat inside the room. There are two bathrooms and two toilets to serve 6 to 7 rooms on each level. The iron and ironboard are available nearby including a mini pantry where you can make some hot tea. However, it was so hard to get through the guesthouse by telephone especially after 4.00pm. I wonder why. I tried to call them to tell about my late check in and i called for a couple of times until my cellphone died out of battery. When i tried to check in at 7.30pm I was told that they had given my room to someone else just because they failed to call me. What about the time when i failed to call them earlier? However after i made a humble plead, they finally found a single room for me. The guesthouse situated in a perfect location; a short walking distance to Pasar Siti Khatijah. The Sun Two Restaurant just around the corner. The taxi station just next to it. Take a walk about 6-8 minutes to get to the Parkson and Giant building and the old Kota Bharu bus station. It is a perfect stay for a budget traveler like me who need just a basic stuff for a short stay and travel with public transportation. Amenities: There is no aircond inside the bedroom and with a fan, the room was still scorching hot during the night; I dont think it is wise to open the window at night to get some air inside so I took another bath at 2.00 am to cool myself so that i could really fall asleep. The surrounding area of the guesthouse was empty, quiet, lonely and dark at night. So if you're a solo traveler, you need to be super extra careful of your surroundings. Better not going out at night because the area was so dark without street lamps and no busy roads.…

I regretted that I chose single room without air conditioner. At that time the weather is hot even though the fan is switched on with full speed and the window is opened. However, I recommended no air conditioner room in rainy weather because it cheap and comfortable. The staffs are friendly and helpful. Besides that, many attraction places are within walking distance.
