Not good points:
1) Room is of LOW value. The mattress are bad cheap low quality soft foam, when u sit or lie on it, you'd sink into it, absolutely no back support. You wake up feeling body aches ALL over, bad mattress, bad pillows...
2) Bed is low, when you sit on it, it's basically a squatting position.
3) The pillows are the cheapest soft foam or micro fibre kind, serves very little purpose as a pillow.
4) There's no window, or air outlet in my tiny toilet, absolutely NONE. The toilet wall's stuck with cheap wall paper fr ground to the low ceiling.
5) The staircase leading up to the lobby fr Ground to 1st floor is absolutely steep, not that I think it's their fault, but had my otherwise healthy 77 year old mum with me, was quite a task getting up and down the steep staircase. So, folks, take note.
Verdict: pictures in website looks better than actual experience. While clean, it had been an absolutely unpleasant stay, I'd ABSOLUTELY not return, even if it's cheaper, and NOPE, it was in fact quite expensive. But fear not Zishi, it was Full on the 2nd night, they'd hv enuf guests, at least now, until people see thru their cheapness. There're plenty of better value, more comfortable stay in KB.
It's a place where you feel pain (physical pain) all over your body after a night on their bed.
i stayed there for 3 days. Paid RM62.00 per night for a room with shared bathroom:
1. The charging ports are too far from the beds and takes too long charging my mobile phone and portable powerbank. Must be some old wiring inside the hotel.
2. I didnt realise that anyone can open the door from the outside whenever I'm out to the bathroom or exploring the city because i didnt know the doorknob wasnt properly locked and a little bit lose/old? just realised this on the last day there. Need to pull it harder till you hear some soft click sound.
3. There is no mirror in the room for ladies to put on make ups and hijab so I had to fork out extra expenses, bought a mirror from DIY shop about 250m from the hotel.
4. There are some stinky busuk stains on the pillow cases and the selimut also smelly.
5. The small night lamp available in the room is not worked (rosak) and also happened to the guy staying next to my room so we had to sleep under the bright light in the room.
6. Nobody came to ask to take out the trash can in the room. There is no place to put away your trash because no trash can is available outside the room except near the bathroom but..
7. The one and only shared bathroom is situated far at the end of the floor and quite scary at night. It has hot shower, shower gel and proper seated toilet with proper bidet. The water pressure is ok but sometimes low. There is no bathroom slipper I had to get one from the other bathroom on the other level. There is a little old mirror in the bathroom near the old sink. During my 3 days staying nobody clean out the little trash can outside the bathroom and by the time I check out, the trash can was overflowed.
8. The hotel is very empty at night; the uppest level has no tenant, there were only two rooms occupied on my level and the guy next door only returned at night, while there was only one room occupied on 1st level and there is no hotel's crew staying inside the hotel at night.
9. You can hear the sound and noises of car engines/honking or motorcycles being pressed very loudly near the traffic lights nearby even at night. The walls are also very thin that I can hear what the couple on 1st level discussing while on my way down or to the upper level.
10. The standing iron is useless if you want to iron your tudung bawal or hijab.
With the same price, I can get better room with attached bathroom at other hotels near the main city.
Tips: Try not to book the room with shared bathroom because the shared bathroom is not proper, too far from the room and quite scary at night. The walls are too thin and the hotel is near to KB Mall, highways and traffic lights, so it is so noisy and motorists honking or pressing their engines can be heard very clearly.
