Pros Good options if you are looking for night eatery area In front of the river and walking distance to city center Spacious and suitable for family, elderly and wheel chair usage Easy parking but bit hard at night as its located at peak area for night eatery Lift provided You can order food to your room. Decent food and cheap with extra RM2 from 5pm to 1am Cons Smelly and really need to clean and update the toilet as it was very dirty and mouldy Internet, wifi and phone connection was bad One of the a/c was not cold

I used to stayed here for 2 days 1 Night. Its not for honeymoon actually, its because we just need a place to take a nap since we need to give space for our relatives to stay at home. So, we prefered to look for budget hotel. We thought Ridel is perfect one since the environment and scenery were good so far, near to the river and strategic if you are hungry for every two hours, because theres a lot of restaurants surrounding even till midnight. The room condition was okay but maybe the price was not a the lowest rate or not match with the room condition, but still in affordable price. Quite unsatisfied when we found that our bed sheet got stained, when we call receptionist to change it, they just gave us they new one and asked us to change it by ourselves. Actually, they should check on the facilities and room condition to make sure its cleans for another guests. However, Im not saying that its a poor services, since its affordable and not too expensive. Maybe, they can improve about their housekeeping.

A basic hotel but with great river views. Room was comfortable enough. Lots of outdoor, riverside diners at night in front of hotel which can be a bit noisy, especially the motorbikes. Nice walk along the riverside and climb up Tambatan Diraja's watch house tower next to hotel.Breaksfast was basic and in a cafe next to hotel.

I chose to stay here because I am looking for a decent, not too expensive yet still offer everything that I need like a nice comfy bed, clean bathroom and toilet with nearby facilities. But what attracted me the most is the location of the hotel which is just beside the Kelantan River. I love the view of the river. Basically, the hotel offers everything that I needed at a reasonable price. The reception staff was friendly and helpful. The room was clean and I had a good night sleep throughout my stay. The breakfast that comes with the room was not too luxurious but just enough and was quite tasty. I had the opportunity to cruise the Kelantan River since the Jetty is just nearby. There are other attractions nearby but since I spent most of my time at work, I did not do much except the short boat trip to Kampung Laut. I recommend the place as it is also near the city center, the mosque and it is strategically located. I think some hotel tenants who have their own transport may have a bit of a challenge with parking. But since I travel by taxi, I did not experience this. All in all, I made a right choice.

I was supposed to stay here from Feb 15-17, 2017, but unfortunately, due to the sudden and untimely demise of my late father in law, left immediately back for home in KL on 16th Feb. Ridel is nice. I love the strong airy and windy reception area. Also love the fact that they are by the side of the Kelantan river. The reception was friendly. English is not a problem for them. My first room, 554, turned out to be smelly and dark! What a relief that when I mentioned this to them, and requested for another room, they worked on it immediately, and I got 557, which was lovely! Bright, and a nice fragrance to boot as well. Food wise, there are quite a number of eateries along the block. The hotel is next to Pelangi Mall. However, I would greatly recommend that you walk towards Merdeka Square which is barely 150 metres away from the riverfront, and you'll come face to face with historic Kelantan, Islamic Kelantan, and the fantastic White Horse cafe. It's 'roti bakar' is simply fantastic! I first tasted it way back in the late 90's, and I NEVER forgot its taste. So, do roll over to Kota Baru. Here and there it does come across as a town needing much restoration and redevelopment, but the old world ambience is unmistakable. I almost felt that at anytime, I would see Japanese soldiers marching in as they did in 1941, when they invaded Malaya through their landing in Kota Baru, during the WW2. You can check it out yourself in the War Museum which is also within walking distance of Ridel.

Been there for one night early 2017. I like the location, which is heart of historical place & attraction. Museum, night market, Pasar Siti Khadijah(morning market) within walking distance. The bulding facing big river, down there many people doing leisure trip with family at night cuz have big food court, small night market , baby monkey show, fishing port. U shud no worry about foods. Breakfast is provided inside cafe restaurant, the choices is okay n variety, try side order dimsum best. The room & bathroom is okay for couple, not really small. I paid RM149 for riverview room that supposed to be RM109 without bfast, maybe because town rates. The one thing that annoyed me, is parking which is at bulding front is limited, not control by hotel management. Its designated for hotel customer but Always full because public also park there. Hotel shud do sumthing@hire worker to look after the parking to prevent public use it. So far, i still recommend this hotel for tourist spot.

Book the family room. Very spacious and clean. The family room got 1 Queen Bed and 2 Single Bed. We also add 1 single bed and it only cost us RM 35 including breakfast. But it only got 1 toilet. The hotel is near to the river side and lots of nearby restaurant.
