Excellent location night market just at your hotel doorstep. Varieties of food for you to enjoy. Our best choice is the Thai Tom yam and crispy freshly fried butter prawns only rm10. You must not miss them

Location strategic very
near to Tourist attractions.

The lift is unique. It's hydrolic lift which will make every guests laugh as we open close the lift door manually . Very interesting experience.

The Hotel receptionist staff Maliha very helpful and understanding. We extended our stay till 6pm however was allowed to have our maghrib prayer till 7.30pm. Hotel breakfast acceptable for an average standard hotel.

The hotel is nice, but I had some issues. The toilet was overflowing whenever it was flushed, and we needed to call staff to fix it. The breakfast that they provide had only a few items, like cereal, mee goreng, and wasn't a really enjoyable meal. However, dinner was no problem since there is a food truck area right next to the hotel. Another problem is that the room is rather small. However, other than that, great hotel. Would go again.

Book for 2 nites, the first impression when i came in this hotel already make me feel bad, the reception who attend us are unpolite n dont even give a smile when we came in, she charge rm30 for early checkin but she dont even give us the breakfast voucher. When go up to the room makes me feel like wanna blow up! The bedsheet and the duvei is used, they only change the pillow case so its look like evrythings change and new, the toilet floor so dirty and smell like theres something dead inside. I call the reception and ask them to change everything, when the housekeeping came they show their angry and unsatisfied faces. Cant stand for a day so i tell the reception that i want to check the next day but she replied that my deposit for 2nd day considered burn! What kind of hotel is this?!. Still check out the next morning, i will not return to this hotel anymore. Not worth it, with this kind of service better find somewhere else.

We had to stay at the place for one night as nobody was present at our other pre-booked guesthouse. At first, everything seemed fine. But then there was noise and music from a party on second floor until late in the night. This is unfortunately not the only thing- rhe Aircon air was really bad and stuffy and the waterpumps were so noisy that it was impossible to sleeps without ear plugs (though this might not be a problem in every room). Finally, we switched on the lights and found several cockroaches in the room. As by then it was 4 in the morning, we decided to simply call it a night and stayed awake until morning. At 7 we asked for a refund and were assured that our 130 ringitt would be reimbursed onto our credit card. However, this of course never happened..

So our recommendation is: stay somewhere else! Don't go to this place. It is our only bad experience during one month of traveling in Malaysia.

stayed here for a night in october, for work purpose. the room is small, smelly (damp) and not clean. there were spots of dirt on the wall and carpet. the bathroom is small too and damp. luckily the shower worked well. i guess it is because the wooden furniture that they use. i didn't hang my clothes in the wardrobe, the odor was too strong. breakfast very limited, only nasi lemak, a noodle, malay kuih (cakes) and toasts. like the title of my review, the location is the only good thing about the hotel.

We had 3 nights at this hotel in a Deluxe Room. The first night our room was on the first level directly above the entrance. The room was a little on the small side and plainly furnished. Across from the Hotel is a cafe that is opened 24hrs. There was a lot of noise coming into our room from the cafe opposite, so much so that we complained at around 2am we were being woken up quite a lot. We were moved immediately to another Deluxe room on the 3rd floor. Much quieter and about twice the size of our original room. It was the room we were suppose to have been booked into. When booking with Agoda always confirm you are given the correct room grade you have booked as some hotels will try and downgrade when possible.
The rooms were clean enough, not much comfort at all. The WiFi was very weak and not worth while using. The staff were friendly enough. The breakfast included was simple and not much on offer and nothing was hot.
The hotel is situated about 100 mtrs from the Bus Station and within easy walking to the night market and some restaurants. Not a lot about Kota Bharu but maybe there are better hotels than this one to stay in.

Initially I stayed at Tune Hotel but the location was not suitable for me to do sightseeing. So I made early arrangement to move to Habib Hotel. Habib Hotel is just what I needed - it offers a great location, free wifi... After 9/10pm Kota Bharu is basically 'asleep' it's a good time to update ur Facebook status!;). The laundry service was also very cheap... spent RM5+ for my a pair of jeans, t-shirt and brief. I don't hv much to complain abt except for one or two things (not a big deal for me tho') - the lift was quite 'different' and slow (go there and u will know what i mean), buffet breakfast could be further improved by offering more western food and fruit juices (i'm an asian so fried mee and rice are just good enough.

Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Pls avoid coming here on Fridays cos many shops are closed... I think it's a policy of the government here. It's something to do with the Friday's prayer for the muslims. The following places a just within walking distance (just make sure you bring along a map and take your time):- - State Museum (the small cave has some interesting sounds that startled me:p) - Islamic Museum (this was closed at the time of my visit) - Museum of Royal Traditions and Customs / Istana Jahar (Jahar Palace) War Museum / Bank Kerapu Royal Museum/Istana Batu (Stone Palace) (the dining area was very nice!) State Mosque Istana Balai Besar (seemed to be closed at the time of my visit) Siti Khadijah Market This bustling market is one of Kelantan's landmark attractions. Visitors can find everything from vegetables, local snacks to fresh tropical fruits. The colourful assemblage of goods and lively atmosphere makes it irresistible to shutterbugs. A unique feature here is that the majority of traders are women. (You should try the beef/chicken/fish meat floss called serunding... simply yummy!) Restoran Yati Ayam Percik @ Jalan Long Yunus, Kota Bharu is a must-go place if you love good food!;) The best ayam percik I hv ever tasted! Lots of other foods too... OMG!;) Restaurant Nasi Ulam Cikgu @Kampung Kraftangan (opposite Royal Museum/Istana Batu/Stone Palace) offers delicious local foods at very reasonable prices... love it!

This is a 2 star hotel - don't expect much, and you will not get dissapointed either.

Hotel is located centrally in Kota Bharu, 50 meters from the Bus Station.

Check in went smooth, and our room was clean and fairly sized. We asked for a double bed, which was provided shortly. Room view is nothing fancy - just ordinary.

Hotel has one elevator, which is extremely slow. Living on 2nd floor, we quickly realized it was significantly faster just taking the stairs.

Hotel has wifi facility.

Breakfast buffet is prepared and set up the evening before, so avoid the cooked stuff. We sticked to bread and jam.

Staff seemed very friendly, but also very shy. Everytime we asked for something, they would giggle and seem confused. Nevertheless, they were very helpful when we asked for something (from extra bed in the room, to directions for restaurant, to recommendations on what to see, umbrellas etc.).

I wouldn't mind staying here again if I ever came to Kota Bharu again (which I sincerely doubt)
