Location was ok, but lacking of cleanliness. Stayed 2 nites there. There was roaches appearing from my bathroom. Small ants on the desk. My water glass was badly stained. Didn’t want to use the facilities since some simplest things lack attention.
There's something wrong with this hotel. Booking direct with the hotel will cost much more than 3rd party platforms. When asked, the staff simply said nonchalantly, "it's like that..you can book with others" Don't let the posh looking lobby fools you. The room was pretty basic, almost like a budget hotel. Totally different compared to Holiday Villa Johor Bahru which was nice. But you will get 2 welcome letters in their folder on the table (one from the GM, and another from the President of Holiday Villa Hotel Group), if that even makes up for the shortcomings. You'd maybe will like the indoor swimming pool and there's a McDonalds next door should you fancy. Occasionally you will get surprised by the loud banging of the door by their housekeeping staff. Frontdesk staff will remind you of checkout time at noon, not in a friendly manner but more like an instruction. Passable for one night, but with many other options coming now, you'd better be looking somewhere else.…
Family friendly and strategic location! My kids enjoyed swimming at the indoor swimming pool and we enjoyed the famous eateries restaurant nearby and shopping at the largest night market just at the doorstep.
This hotel is so convenient for family. Strategic location where the largest and famous night market is only at the hotel doorstep, nearby to famous eateries restaurant and the best part is they have indoor swimming pool. No worries if it is sunny or rainy!
I stayed here for 3 nights, and encountered a few problems, but staff were always quick to rectify the situation and are very friendly! Firstly I requested a non-smoking room, upon entering the room there was a very strong smoking smell, fortunately the front desk staff were very quick in organising a new room for me. The room itself is quite small, with no where to put your luggage except the floor and the air-con was pretty asthmatic and not cold, especially since given the size of the room I expected better! The walls are fairly thin, so we could hear our neighbour all the time and plus we faced the main road so it felt like we sleeping on the 'actual' main road. The breakfast spread is fairly limited, however the food that is provided is tasty! The location is fairly good, there is a McDonalds next door, a nearby dobi, Old Town White Coffee, pharmacy which are all in walking distance. All in all, the hotel itself is nothing special but served its purpose for my stay.…
The room is clean, farely simple and small. I guess rm160 per night is a little expensive. Breakfast spread very less choice. Could improve. But taste is good. Staff are kind and friendly. The worst issue I faced was the leaking aircond. It started to leak at 2am..had to wake up and place towel and cloth on the bed... It dripped straight onto my head. Then switched head position to sleep. Unable to off aircond coz there is no fan. So sleep was totally disturbed. Not too happy.
We stay here for 5 nights for 2 adult + 3 kids. Our room are very small for us so i decided to upgrade our room to Deluxe Triple from Deluxe Double with extra fee. However rooms that we paid for upgrade still the same size as earlier room it just they add one additional single bed. Front Desk give us Connecting Room for the triple room and for 5 days we suffer with the noise from next room. They speak and laugh very loud until late midnight. I found this hotel are not suitable for a family like us to stay. So after 5 night we check out and stay with The Grand Renai Hotel KB which is SUPERB HOTEL. For those who are driving to this hotel like me you should think twice. During my stay here it is very not convenient at all. Car Park very limited for us to park and always full.. Hotel Security did not gave priority to in house guest but giving out so much space to outsider who are going to Wakaf Che Yeah for shopping. Hotel Security collect $$$ for every each of the car to let them park here in the hotel car park area.. Hotel Management SHOULD look in to this matter and always give priority to your inhouse guest as we are staying here in your hotel.. To come back again to stay here for sure i will think twice. …
Located just across Wakaf Che Yeh Night Baazar which is plus point to stay at this hotel. The hotel rooms were rather small with no place to open your luggage. Took bigger room which is the Family Suites & told that could accommodate up to 4 person but was disappointed to found out the room is smaller than expected. Opening the sofa bed would occupy the whole living area with no space to walk. Toilet was a bit small size with some dirt/stain on the floor. The bathroom piping system also noisy & annoying especially at night. Very limited parking space which I need to park my car in front of the shop nearby (less secure). Air conditioning was very poor need some time to cool after switching on. Called maintenance but nothing being done to improve. Recommended if your looking forward for the Night Bazaar otherwise better look for other option.…
hotel was ok... moderate, liveable. room small for deluxe. bathroom small but clean. toiletries provided. no place to put luggage so had to make do with the chair. swimming pool was a good consolation. internet was available and wifi had good strength. in the day time no place to go around the hotel for some lunch except MCD.. so need to get a grab to venture out. at night everything is alive. staff of hotel courteous and pleasant. would recommend this hotel jsut get a bigger room if you dont like cramped space.
Located on the main road opposite the Wakaf Che Yeh Night Bazaar. A very sought after and family friendly hotel. Checking in is a little bit slow. Have a nice buffet breakfast spread. There are many eateries nearby.
