The hotel was good, the hotel staff was friendly and super helpful and i really appreciate that. The breakfast is limited to rice and bread. Even though the parking is far from the hotel and it was dark at night and as a girl, alone, i needed to watch around all the way to and from the parking. Well with the price i paid i shouldnt ask for more better place right. Except for the parking guard. He was rude. How could he commented "macam mana dapat lesen kereta" when i couldnt properly follow his order to park the car his way. I DROVE FROM MY HOMETOWN FOR MORE THAN 5 HOURS I WAS SOOOOO TIRED TO FOLLOW HIS ANTIC! NOT TO MENTION THE PARKING WAS FAR AND I HAVE MANY BAGS TO CARRY. THE GUARD SHOULD BE THANKFUL GOD THAT I DIDNT TALK BACK TO HIM BECAUSE I CARE FOR MY CAR'S SAFETY.

We stayed here 7 years ago and booked again for another trip to Perhentian Islands. I wish we'd looked around a bit first. We payed £28 for a double room. The hotel has not seen a bit of maintenance in the last 7 years. Everything was tired and shabby. The taps on the bathroom sink were only held in place by the pipes, cleanliness was questionable. That said, the bed was clean and comfy and hotel felt secure. The reception staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very poor. Would look around for an alternative if we go again.

average budget hotel, location near to town area, cheng ho street. however, early in the morning, there was no water supply for our block, apparently pump was not on. and management only ask us to wait for water supply, and not sure how long do we need to wait. even we request for a change of room so that we can use the washroom as we are rushing for time, our request was rejected .. initially we were offer to use a public toilet where there is no hot water supply. badly managed. until we almost lost our patience only we were offer to use another room's wash room.

We stayed only for a night at this hotel as we were planning to take the morning bus back to Kuala Lumpur the next day. Once we arrive, the receptionist was already expecting us and service was quite fast I would say. I've even locked myself out of the room and they got it open immediately.. so yes, service was fast! :P Crews/Staff there were also nice & polite. Rooms are at a reasonable price since it's including a buffet breakfast. We had a double bed room with window and it was really comfy. Really small space to move around the room though. Location wise was excellent because it's smack right in the middle of the little city. You can find food around you easily. Overall,I would say it's a nice stop for a night or 2.

A very average budget hotel that is close to the main attractions and riverside of Kota Bharu. The breakfast is not very inspiring, nor is the room it's located in. This is a pity because it's a nice view and could be quite nice.

There are mixed reviews on this hotel but we can only speak from our recent experience. Our rooms (we stayed there at the beginning and at the end of the holiday) were clean and comfortable. The shower was hot, the air con worked well and the fridge worked once we plugged it in! Breakfast was buffet style and plentiful. This is a transit hotel for divers going to the Perhentian Islands or other travellers on a short stay and was much better than we anticipated given other reviews. Free wifi was appreciated. The location is good. It is very near China town but there is are also other eating places nearby including KFC and other Asian chain restaurants if you want something more familiar. There is a Giant supermarket nearby selling everything you could possibly need - especially if you want to stock up before going to the Perhentian Islands where hair condiitoner etc is harder to come by. There are also local pharmacies if you need them. The transfer service to and from the airport and Kota Bharu is excellent and well priced during the day. A surcharge is made for after 8pm. Staff were friendly and helpful. We have nothing negative to say about this hotel and would definitely use it again.

Comfy room plus very polite workers here. Hotel location is great for exploring many local delicacies and interesting places. The hustle and bustle of the street at night is quite disturbing for sleep though.

We stayed here for a visa run, quiet good and clean room for a standard single room. Closer to some shops, some few minuses no windows from this side of my room, wifi not working inside the room, but ive got a nice relaxing stay for a night.

The place is filthy, so much dust and damp I was sick for my entire stay. Sneezing, coughing, running eyes that all seemed to settle as soon as I left the place! The aircon barely works, hair in the drain, the mini fridge smelt awful. And to top it off food the person I went with got food poisoning from the breakfast! Don't waste your money

I have been there on my visa trip, This place is cheap but not even worth the price. The single room doesnt have any windows, it's hard to get any information. For a visa it is suitable but not for holiday!! This is not a place to relax and be quiet!!
