Fully satisfied! Best service ever! Best homestay recommend! We like Mr Lee! Stayed here for one night and we don't even know the route of Kelantan but no matter how busy was Mr Lee on that day, his willingness of bringing us to the destination was really a touch!
Went over to Kota Bahru for some official business matter when I had to stay in Kubang Kerian. Found Mr Lee's guesthouse in TA and with one of the highest rating and good comments. I immediately book my accomodation at his place without second thought. Mr Lee texted me a day earlir prior to arrival enquiring my check in time and whether I need a pickup from the airport with a fixed price. He wasn't around when he arrived at the guesthouse but he already texted me earlier on what to do. We found out that we were the only guest on the guesthouse on that day. Mr Lee's guesthouse is situated nearby HUSM (Hospital University Sains Malaysia) and in a residential area. What amazed me the most was the cleanliness of the guesthouse. Everything was sparkling clean. I stayed in the master room on the first floor which consists of 3 queen size bed and an attached bathroom. Sheets were clean and fresh. The air-conditioning was slightly warm despite on the lowest temperature and highest speed. The weather was rather hot on that evening. Breakfast was included during the stay which consists of bread with butter/jam/peanutbutter with juice or milk. In the living hall there is a computer for you to use and a TV with Astro channels. Kitchen has all the utensils you need in case you want to cook your meal. There was an occasion when we couldn't find a particular restaurant and after much thought I decided to contact Mr Lee for help. Without much hesitation he drove out from his residential house, met us and brought us to the restaurant. Such amazing hospitality. Overall would definitely recommend Mr Lee's guesthouse!…
Stayed here for one night. What made all the difference to our stay was Mr. Lee who was able to pick us up from the airport (booked in advance) and he also drove us into town so that we could check out the night market. He also came to pick us up! Luckily we stayed at a quiet time so he was able to help us out as much as he did. His recommendations were pretty good too and he just lets you get on with it, without trying to push any tours or activities on you. It was easy and convenient to book taxi and boat services from him as the prices for boat tickets are the same as at the jetty.
Mr. Lee was incredibly accommodating and showcased hospitality at its finest! He graciously offered and helped arrange transfers to/from the airport, jetty to the pehrentien islands, and into the city (it is a bit far from the city). Everything was meticulously clean and I had my best sleep the entire trip here! He even prepared breakfast for me in the early mornings (as early as 4am) in advance of early flights/jetty times and offered his extra mobile to arrange pickup times when I went into the city. Tips for those visiting: night food market is a must for the thrifty eater, grab a treat and swing by the dock (around clock tower) for sunset, cultural centre offers free shows throughout the day and offers great reprieve and shade during the hottest hours, pick up large bottles of water at the grocery store and the bottom of the Parksons building for under 1 ringgit, and just relax - the city has a super slow and chill vibe. …
What can I say. From the moment we met Lee we were sold. He had a personalised greeting note on his gate waiting for us on arrival and he soon ushered us into his home where he made us feel at home giving us full use of the kitchen and dvd collection. Lee was a gentleman and rather than have us walk to the shops in the dark he drove us there free of charge and offered to pick us up later that night. All in all, our one night stint with Lee was a night to remember. WE LOVE U LONG TIME LEEEEEEEEEE
