Detailed Reviews
Diners looking for a good meal may want to head to the Hotel Royale Chulan in Seremban, Negeri Sembilan. Eight of us stopped in at the hotel’s International Buffet and came away satisfied with the ample selections of food items of several cultures (though some meat could have been tenderer), delectable desserts, and refreshing cut fruits. Unlike dining in the eateries downtown, there is no need to scramble for street parking as one may park free in the hotel basement. The special 50% discount for diners aged 60 and over make it an affordable and pleasurable outing for mixed parties of adults and seniors.

+1
My family (with young kids) and I waited for 1 hour at the lobby to get rooms eventhough we booked earlier. The male staff at the reception was not helpful at all. We finally got our 1st room after negotiate with an Indian lady, also staff. The key for the 2nd room received almost 2 hours later. Imagine that. The room was quite okay, nice view outside. However, the linen was dirty. Brown spots in few places (too bad that I realised it early in the next morning when I tried to fold the linen upside down). Mold in the shower with lots of hairs from previous customers. Breakfast was good with friendly services from the staff since we were not allowed to take foods ourselves.
I had already contacted the hotel thru facebook. Admin has replied to let the Manager to call. But, I’m not sure whether the Manager ever tried to reach me or not but as far as I know, I received no call while I was in the room.

Booked this hotel and nothing extra to expect from my stay. I wish that the Front Office personnel could be more friendly and more attentive while attending to the guest.
During my stay and since it is full house, it is quite noisy, and the mattress and pillows are not too comfy.

Few guests including me with fully paid booking have been turned down during check in with reasons that our booking details was not available in their hotel database.
They claimed that there was no available room for us. I even asked for any upgrade room but no joy.
Hotel blamed the issue on booking site including agoda and booking.com.
Their claim may be correct but they should at least compensated us with discounted fare during our next stay or at least a meal vouchers.
Requested to talk to the manager but front desk informed me that manager was not available during that weekend. Also requested a letter or memo that I can use as proof to Agoda when claiming back the (non-refundable) paid booking but they did not have any.
Funny but nevertheless I wont be coming back. As at today Agoda has refunded my booking.

Nice comfortable room size wise but toilet cistern is constantly overflowing, wasting water and making noise all night long. We checking in to a dirty toilet! We had to call 4 times to get engineering to replace a bulb. (Mind you the engineering chap was very pleasant). Housekeeping is hit and miss - today we had someone who is obviously trained and there is nothing to complain about. Yesterday we obviously had someone absolutely useless; bath mat left on the carpet in the room, room not tidied, used mugs not replaced, hand towels not replaced, no water bottles replaced. The pool is filthy with leaves and flowers floating all over - one would simply dare not go in! No coffee shop facility during the month of Ramadan. Buffet breakfast is not worth the money at all, seems the only ones having breakfast are the corporate clients. Thank goodness the staff we have encountered so far have been absolutely wonderful.

We stayed over the CNY long weekend, and the hotel exceeded most expectations. Have come a long way from their "Royale Bintang" days, with price of RM 2xx ++, was an excellent deal. Spacious room with bathtub, swimming pool with waterfall, varied breakfast buffet never short on food and friendly staff. Sometimes the service industry on long festive weekends will see a dip in customer service quality but we never experienced that, the staff did not appear overworked and were constantly helpful. Well done! We enjoyed our stay tremendously!

The hotel is nice but service was very slow.
Que for 30 mins to get for check in registration and waited for more than 3 hours in the lobby for the room to be ready.
Staffs were not able to give timeline on when the room will be ready and just avoid any contacs with the guests.
Stayed for 2 nights, room were not cleaned during our stay, cause seems they were overwhelmed.

Check in was easy as we arrived at 1030pm. Hardly any one in line.
Room had all essential facilities. Nice high ceilings gives the room a feeling of being in a larger space.
There s a small coffee table with chairs and is handy when you have some packed food.
Bathroom had a lot of mould and we requested for a different room. 2nd room also had the same thing so we complained.
This time been given an Executive room which was much larger and facing the Seremban town view.
Not sure why the under performing management did not resolve the issue. I mean dirty moulded bathroom is a health risk and people can file law suits against the management.
Aircon and electrical appliances were working as expected. TV is a little outdated but works.
Breakfast spread was just average. Just the basic Malaysian 3 star hotel breakfast.
The pool looks nice with some nice water features but didn’t get a chance to dive in.
At the very least the staff were nice and humble so no issues on customer service.
Parking is free for hotel guest.

Stayed for 1 night. Late checked in. Already booked online. Tq to your staff Aliff for helping me out. Giving me nice room with city view. My room is 922. Salute for all the royal chulan staff very polite. I remembered i went to the toilet lobby. There's one staff cleaning the rubbish and stop for a while welcoming me to the toilet. The lift was super fast. Not like other hotel that have to wait and wait for your turn to get. I didn't get the chance to try the breakfast coz have to rushed to a wedding ceremony. My husband did but forgot to ask hows the breakfast. The staff at the pool also very responsible. Always keep aware the safety especially the kids. I also want to express my gratitude to the front desk for understanding my situation that have to rushed back to the hotel and packed everything for checking out. Luckily they gave me some time. Tq for that. So if u have any event or business in Seremban, I highly recommended u stay here.

Not a family friendly hotel.. This hotel charged if we asked for mineral water. Sadly upon our "check-out" day, I called the reception for a mineral water to be sent to my room because I want to use it to prepare my kids milk. Unfortunately it takes 4 times of me to call the reception over an over again from 8am till 11am..
Even it's charged,
If the guest already agree with the price, why making sooo muchhh time to send it? Can you be more sympathetic and kind to someone who travel along with kids ?? Dear God..

Sorry not able to give specific answer. I was there under a big group arrangements. However the double room I was allocated is pretty spacious as compared to other 4* hotels that I have been to.
Check in early as possible. 2. Specify in your online booking. 3. When you check in insist that you get the room you want.
Hi,
Yes, you can fit an extra bed in the Deluxe Room.
Decent buffet breakfast - not terrible and not super duper either. Quite OK for the price.
