It was supposedly a fun weekend together with some friends staying in this hotel but end up making me and my spouse lose our cool and feeling pissed.

Upon check-in on the 1st day of our stay, there wasn't any towels provided and we immediately call the front desk. It took years (almost 3 hours) for the hotel housekeeping to send it over after few follow up over the phone. That was the 1st day.
On second day we decided to use back our towels but for the 3rd day we request for a replacement. Before we left for our meeting at 930am we informed the front desk and when we are back to hotel at 5pm, rooms and beds were tidied but towels again was not replenish.
Imediately we inform the front desk asking for the towels, and believe me we only receive the towels almost 9pm. That was 4 hours of waiting.
Over the conversation with the receptionist, i informed i need the towels urgently as need to take a quick bath and out for dinner thereafter. Towels was not delivered and i couldnt have my shower. My spouse tried calling the front desk and was told 10 minutes again and again and the whole process of delivery of towels took 4 hours.

The whole night our mood was affected by such lousy service provided by the hotel.

Whats going on? Isn't the house keeping should replenish the towels when the rooms are cleaned? Where is your hotel SOP?
I just felt really disgusted.

Hi. I ought to give a good rating to Nova Highlands cuz of the spacious suites (i booked 2-room suite), the amenities, the strategic location, the view from balcony, interconnected to mall and ample space of parking lots. at least i should give 4, but i had to give only 3 because of the hygiene issue and some other things like no wifi available.

I thought after some past poor reviews by other guests on the hygiene issue, the hotel already make some improvements, but I guess my family and I faced the same thing when we arrived. There were stains and hair on the bedsheet. When the housekeeper guys came, they told us it's because the laundry people didn't clean it well. I don't think it's the laundry, the bedsheet just not being changed, that's all. And there's also mold on the toilet walls (photo included).

We stayed for 3 days 2 nights, but the housekeeping didn't come to clean the room on the 2nd day, even though we put on the CLEAN UP ROOM sign at the door. i think we ran out of shower gel by the 2nd night (good thing i bought one at watson pharmacy at the mall). The only good things about the housekeeping is they gave us iron when we asked for it and all 4 towels were clean. (hope you can put some hangers in the wardrobe too).

As i said, everything was okay but the hotel needs to improve more on the housekeeping. May be hotel can pick a day (I suggest Monday or Tuesday, since not many guests come in that day) and do a major cleaning on vacant rooms like cleaning the toilet from mold for instance, wash the sofa covers and all. and make sure to CHANGE ALL bedsheets after previous guests check out, not just tidying it up. I bet if the hotel do all this, insyaAllah you'll put a wide smile and give a good staying experience to all your guests. Thank you :)

Our booking in time was 3pm due to terrible weather we arrived around 7pm .
The receptionist explained that room was not ready ?????. And that we would have to wait!
Eventually we were directed to our room 830 all we wanted was a shower and sleep after the long journey from KL in the rain. Then we began to check the room out disappointment after disappointment.
The next morning I visited the front desk request to see the manger. Unavailable! I explained that the room was substandard. And we wish to move . I was going to meet friends local for the day. Upon my return at 8pm nothing was arranged. Again I asked for the duty manager . Not available. I then showed the front desk photos of the disgusting room. A manager of some sort over the phone the. Offered us an upgrade? All we wanted was a clean room. Eventually reception asked us to check 606 which was adequate. But far from perfect.
But again had to wait for a manager to agree the move. In the end we did not invite family back to the room to stay in the 2nd room as we did not feel comfortable.

The rooms are impressive large.
The hot shower was also good.
Bed was comfortable
But duvet cover was two bed sheets the duvet kept falling out?
Microwave cups plates no cutlery not even a spoon to stir the tea.
Small fridge . You must leave a key card in when going out as the power turns off and the food is spoiled. We were not offered WiFi.

It's a shame this hotel could be great if it was kept up to standard . Very disappointing.

Worse hotel I have stayed at. Multiple insect/spider/something bites all over my and my family's body. Everything was dirty (floor, bed, pillow, blankets, etc). Phone line to reception was not working. No bath towels or toilet paper in room (took 30min to be provided with these basic necessities and they were never stocked up). Room was never cleaned (I saw cleaners cleaning the same rooms everyday over the course of the week that I stayed that no one was staying in. Highly recommend that this place be avoided.

9 people for a family trip to Cameron Highland, booked 2 nights, only stayed 1 night, and checked out the second day due to a super dirty room. Only able to check in at 6pm (not 3pm as stated) due to no room was ready as explained by the receptionist at the check-in lobby. No towel was provided until 10 pm the reason laundry was not delivered as scheduled. Moldy bathroom, dusty sofa, broken cabinets, many to mention. For lift, passengers have to go upper level before going to the lower level.

Check in counter has only 2 receptionist. Guest queue up more than hours to check-in.
When we check in, there is no towel!! We called the receptionist and we got hang up. We had to go down to get towel ourselves. When we check in, we had to pull the bellboy trolley ourselves because there is no staff hotel to help us.
To be fare, the hotel location is very convenient but service is super poor and bed sheet and towel are unclean.

Please do not stay at this ‘hotel’. The room reeked of mould and was incredibly dirty. The dampness was everywhere, to the point that even the lampshades and walls were mouldy. The smell and dirtiness was so appalling that we only managed to stay inside the apartment for 40 minutes. Luckily we found another hotel which has been fantastic. Upon going to the reception to advise of the condition of the apartment, we were told no refund would be given. It is clear from other reviews that this business is a scam. Incredibly disappointing experience and hope to warn anyone thinking of booking here.

The view of the hotel was breathtaking. Early in the morning when you wake up you will hear the sound of birds singing. You can find good local restaurants nearby. The reception staffs are very professional. The housekeeping team did a good job.

Location is strategic and it’s spacious but the apartment need to improve on housekeeping. Decided to upgrade to larger unit but the whole liaison is so difficult and comes with a high price, a lot more extra. Definitely not worth the price. Will not recommend.

Hi there, Actually, the linen that is actually not clean. It has some smell and also looks yellowish. As far as the mattress is concern, it still alright but about time for replacement. Also, the rooms are not well maintained. The house keeping maintenance really have to keep up their work or else over time things will get worse. Regards
