The Wau is a fairly basic hotel, I'd say 2-star, but modern, with everything you need and spotlessly clean. The real highlight is the manager, Manian, who will treat you like one of his own children! He told us everything we needed to know before our visit to Taman Negara and even took us to the boat jetty for a...

Girlfriend and I stayed for two nights because of the close proximity to the national park. After check-in we went in the city of Jerantut but i wouldn't recommend that. It isn't a touristy place, and english isn't really spoken. For food there is a Indian place right by the hotel in a tent, and the food is veryyy delicious....

We had a nice stay at Wau hotel. Very friendly mr Amian. Everything we read before on Tripadvisor was true. He helped us with planning our trip to Taman Negara and arranged a busticket for our next day travel while we were at the park. Also a free drop off from the owner in the morning. Very good stay. Good...

The Wau hotel is practical, clean and not too expensive. Wifi works, and the people of the hotel were very nice and can book bus tickets or else for you if needed. It is a bit isolated (15 minutes walk from the center) and the rooms are not "charming", but there are clean and quite big.

This is by far one of the best hotel in Jerantut as there are no other big hotels in this town. It is located on a busy street which is like the main road of the town. It is in fact a double storey shoplot. Upon check-in, we were told that the room we booked has some issues that they...

The hotel is nice, but the real reason to come hear is the staff. They were very nice and helpful! Even funny :-) the next morning they took us to the bus station, so we could continue our trip to the tama negara. The hotel can provide you with all the information you need to get there. For your last...

Had an overnight at the Wau before going into Taman Negara. If you need to stay in Jerantut, the Wau is clean and comfortable. With the very solicitous help from Mr Black (as he told us he is called), we also had our taxi to Taman Negara booked plus the boat ride into the Park. Not too sure about Mr...

Definitely book this without question if you want to break up the 3 hour coach journey from KL and 3 hour boat trip the the national park. The staff are amazingly friendly and Mr Manian has every bit of knowledge you need about the area from the different trips and local restaurants/ stalls in Jerantut.

We came here and spent a day Jerantut before our jungle tour. We were allowed to check in at 12pm. Rooms had TVs, AC and clean shower. Staff showed us a wonderful Chinese restaurant nearby. Simple continental breakfast included. Very happy given the price point and lack of high quality accommodation in Jeratut
