Definitely book this without question if you want to break up the 3 hour coach journey from KL and 3 hour boat trip the the national park. The staff are amazingly friendly and Mr Manian has every bit of knowledge you need about the area from the different trips and local restaurants/ stalls in Jerantut.

We came here and spent a day Jerantut before our jungle tour. We were allowed to check in at 12pm. Rooms had TVs, AC and clean shower. Staff showed us a wonderful Chinese restaurant nearby. Simple continental breakfast included. Very happy given the price point and lack of high quality accommodation in Jeratut

I haven't stayed in this hotel but I had a very nice experience with the staff of the hotel. We arrived to Jerantut and nobody spoke English and we were told to different things about how to get to Taman Negara. We met a couple who stayed at this hotel and told us to book our trip with MR. Manian....

Just outside the town centre, the Wau offers spacious, spotless rooms and free shuttle to the bus station. They have a helpful in-house trip advisor with maps and relevant information for Taman Negara National Park, 1.5hrs away by local bus. An Indian, a fish and a Chinese restaurant ( with cold beer, hard to find hereabouts!) are close by. Breakfast...

We loved our stay here as others have said Manian the night Manager is excellent at arranging your trip to Taman Negara no matter which way you want to go and bus tickets that were priced as per the bus company. The rooms are spotless including bathroom, the breakfast is a bit weak coffee/tea and toast however plenty of cheap...

Thumbs up for the service, cleanliness & location of the hotel. A good stopover before continuing the road trip up to Temerloh & Kuantan. Would stay again if back to Jerantut for the Taman Negara adventures.

our room was spacious and clean, and the man who runs this place was nothing if not enthusiastic. He helped us so much to get transportation and information about Taman Negara, with no benefit for himself. Wifi was pretty weak in our room, unfortunately.

The cleanest hotel I have stayed in for a long time. Such a pleasure to have a spotlessly clean room and bathroom. Very friendly and helpful man on reception (day/evening). Rooms are basic but adequate, 1 English TV film channel, bottled water and toiletries. The cafe is closed, but breakfast is provided - just toast. Free wi-fi. Parking outside. Note...

We loved Wau Hotel so much. It was exceptionally clean, everything was really good (air con, tv, shower, bedding, etc.) and Manian provided outstanding service. All this for a great price, too! We will be going back for sure if we are in Jerantut again.

We stayed just a night in this hotel because we were leaving Taman Negara and we would reach Perhentian islands with a bus in the early morning. Our stay has been good, the recepsionist is very likable and kind and suggest us a good place for dining during Ramadan. The room is very essential but seemed quite clean for malaysian...
