We stayed at the family room.. 1 king and 1 single bed comfortably fitting 2 adults 1 teenager and 1 child. The room has been upgraded with modern facilities thus the room was comfortable indeed. The beds were marvelous.. As for the breakfast spread, not bad but don't expect fancy varieties. Good stay.

Newly renovated hotel. Got table for laptop and bigger room size among budget hotel, got the promo price around rm143 for walkin price. They come with three internet device access. Very clean room. Have hotel car park which are open space and basement type. The breaskfast is okay and it's buffet style. The staffs are friendly and easy to access to the malls. Will be staying with this hotel again. The budget hotel like skytree and seasonview hotel just around rm108 but i rather pay more to stay in this hotel coz it's really bigger size for deluxe king room. P. S: mostly all the item have price tag, please do not damage the item in the room. Got iron for cloth, it's really suitable for business stay.

The hotel located in the city, near to other hotels - Grand Continental Hotel but not walking distance to any mall. It has its own parking space beside the hotel. If you need to wash your car, there is a car wash center beside the hotel.
The staff are friendly and helpful.
The room is clean and bed is comfortable enough. Enough space for 2, but 3 would be a crowd. New towels - great.
Food is average - price for breakfast is RM15; so it is worth RM15.
For just a short trip to Kuantan with average budget - I recommend this hotel.

How can staff members be so insulting and inefficient.

There was 2 workers behind the desk and one of them (her name tag called asha) was free but told me to go to the other side of the desk and check in, so i did, and then i was behind one other person checking in. She remained free and just stood there doing nothing while i had to wait for the one person infront of my to check in. Honestly its like they was working in slow motion, simple things took unnessesary long. The work ethic is terrible and asha just stood there and did nothing as i waited. Shes still free doing nothing and just made me wait. So eventually irs my turn and to insult me even more, they then served the person behind me while serving me. Im just so offended that they treated me like this.
To top it all off, one of the workers hoovering decided to block the elevator with the hoover wire and expected me to lift my bad over the wire. I tried but it got caught on the wire and i almost fell. So embarrassing. Such a bad experience and the workers really need to stop treating this work like its a social and start taking it seriously. Really bot happy with the service. The hotel it self is nice and clean, get what you pay for, just a shame about the staff and their attitude .

E-Red Hotel is a new entrant to Kuantan's mid-priced hotel segment. Previously the Citiview Hotel, the hotel opened its doors in July 2016 after an almost total renovation.of the property The rooms are modern, bright, and spacious. Although the hotel is owned by the same group that owns E-Red hotels in Penang, the Kuantan property is not yet listed on group's website. It does, however, show up on Agoda, which is where my wife and I found it when we were looking for an overnight hotel stay on 28 August 2016. The rate offered for a Deluxe room with one King bed was RM125 (without breakfast). The total with tax was just over RM146.

The first thing you will notice when you reach the hotel is the ample free parking in a fenced-off just beside the hotel. Check in was quick and efficient. We were asked, however, for a deposit of RM100 (presumably to cover either any damage, or the removal from the room of things that shouldn't be removed) and were given a receipt for it. Prior to leaving the front desk, the staff signed us up for the hotel's "rewards card" program that promises discounts on future stays, in addition to other benefits.
The hotel offers free WiFi. To access it, you will need to ask the front desk staff for a user name and password. You will need one for every device in your room that wants access to WiFi.

We were given room 701, which faces the Kuantan River. The first thing we noticed when we entered the room was the amount of space that we had. The second was the modern decor, including wardrobe, fridge (stocked with Coke and 100 Plus), safe, writing desk, LCD TV (receives only domestic Malaysian TV channels), and king size bed. The best thing about the room was the lack of carpeting (there are tiles instead). The bathroom was spacious and modern as well. The room comes with several power outlets, making it easy to charge or use portable electronics from just about anywhere in the room. We liked the way that the switches beside the bed were labeled, as it makes it easy to turn off lights without having to go through the usual trial and error process. Other things that we liked about the room were the firmness of the mattress, and the thickness of the bath towels.

As with any property, there were a few things at E-Red that could use improvement. First, the water in the shower fluctuated in temperature and never did get above lukewarm. Not good for those of us who like hot showers. Second, the pillows are way too soft for side sleepers like me. And third, since the halls are not carpeted, they sound like echo chambers. While this may not be an issue now, when there are few guests, it will become problematic over time as people discover the hotel and the place fills up. During our stay, the hotel's restaurant was only open for breakfast; things may have changed since then, although those looking for food are within walking distance of Berjaya Megamall.

All in all, we found great value for money at this hotel and will likely be staying there again on future trips to Kuantan.

This is my first time visiting the hotel. The room was super clean and spacious. The bed and pillows are very comfortable. Aircond temperature was good and water pressure was awesome.

Breakfast spread is decent with at least 3-4 main dish i.e. Nasi lemak, fried noodles, porridge and cereals.

There is also a large private parking area for the cars next to d hotel building.

The location is easy to get to and the hotel is high enough to stand out among the lower buildings nearby. It is an easy landmark to spot. It has ample parking and is walking distance to the 2 nearby malls. Each floor have probably 8 to 10 rooms, out of which 4 are corner rooms, with views along 2 angle. We got a corner room and enjoyed the view.

There is a hawker center just round the corner - perfect for lunch - the bah kut teh is pretty good. And a restaurant just across - perfect for dinner (though we did not try this one).

The room's night light is low "disco" blue glow. Could be interesting for couples. But the walls are pretty thin though, and we can hear people talking along the halfway. It just happened there was an elderly group and they were pretty loud.

I will definitely book this hotel again the next time I visit Kuantan.

Lift: 9/10 clean and well maintained
Room clealiness: 9/10
Bedding: 9/10 - sheets were white, clean and wonderful to sleep in.
Room ammenities: 8/10 - overall good. Comfy and clean couch and leg rest. Safety box and mini fridge provided.
Toilet: 4/10 - overall toilet was reasonably clean EXCEPT the toilet bowl. Not pleasant because it was dirty. Had to call housekeeping twice to come clean..and they eventually came and cleaned it.

Overall a very well kept, clean and classy hotel.

Stayed in family room. Room was trendy designed and clean. Everything look new. Breakfast was excellent, while spread was limited but was delicious. Only discomfort was the super cold floor but sandals were provided. For the price asked, given the location and great room, couldn’t ask for more.
