With the price that we paid, the small room had all the basic amenities like comfy beds, clean bathroom, TV with only one channel available (rtm1) and 3 clothes hangers. Would have been better if there was space to put our things like a cupboard or at least more hangers. There was only 1 available pin plug in the room so we had to unplug the table lamp in order tl use the other plug. All in all a comfortable stay.
the place is very quiet, cosy, clean, spacious common area with surrounding natural view. the room is clean but the some furniture is not available such as bathroom glass shelf to place the toothbrush and toothpaste a long table to place the bag, the tv in the room and wifi has no strong signal and the cafeteria area is close early. anyhow, we still enjoy the place by sitting at the garden area.
Overall a good peace place suitable for family gathering spot, but can be improved better especially the room condition and common facilities. I stay near to main road with baby, so you can imagine how well can I sleep with a light sleep princess :)
Initially, we thought of going to Panorama Hill as we arrive Sungai Lembing town in the midnight. However, my travel buddy change his mind and decided to depart at 5.30am to watch the sunset at Panorama Hill. We have no choice, but to find an accommodation for that night. The bright billboard and romantic landscape of this homestay captured our attention. Lucky for us, our phone call was answered in seconds and we was informed that it's ready to check in! The staff told us that snacks and bread is available at their rooftop cafe around the clock, for free! We take our time to have a break there, we really enjoy the peaceful ambience. The room in this homestay is minimalist, with comfortable bed, air-conditioning, fan, TV and other toiletries. I personally like the big window so much. The homestay also equipped with 3 water dispenser, culinary and refrigerator. I'm planning another trip to visit the Rainbow Waterfall with my friends and lead the barbeque site. I'll be back soon!…
This is the most terrible and horrible hotel room I had check in. There’s NO tv, amenities, toiletries provide in the room. Simple like mineral or tea also they don’t provide, It’s an empty unit. Don’t even have a proper blanket, just a thin towel given. Worse part was the aircond compressor, damn noisy till can’t sleep for the whole night. You can’t find their reception counter as well. Ridiculous!! Still charge at RM168 per night. Is a joke!!
While the property itself is purposely build and quite big for a typical homestay, but it's run like a homestay and feels like it. It's a 2 storey building with many rooms - but has no lobby or reception or anything like it, if you dont see the friendly owner('s family members) around, you just call their phone numbers and they will immediately assist you. They won't ask you for deposit when checking in and are easy going. But also means cash only - don't expect to be able to make any payment per cards or such. It seems to be a place where some Malaysian families or group of friends gather over the weekend over a picnic or BBQ (yes there is a pit). The rooms itself provides comfy beds, aircon and has a simple bathroom in the room (the information on booking.com seems wrong as it mentioned the triple rooms having bathrooms outside). Amenities like hairdryer are provided outside in the common area, as well like the water dispenser where you can also can make tea/coffee. There is a pantry where you can wash your utensils and while breakfast is not provided, there are even bread/cakes available in case you need a quick snack. (Anyway - for proper B'fast I'd recommend to hop into the town which is like 3 min away with car to get the wonderful local hawker delicacies). On the roof they have a cosy cafe with some western grub. They have rooms with different sizes, so while we booked a triple room and asked for extra bed as we were a family of four, we were moved to a 5-bed room where they took away the 5th (spare) bed as the standard triple couldn't fit in an extra bed. Online booking sites are not showing all available room types, contact them directly if need to book larger rooms (there are room for groups too). Only small problem we had was the wifi which was not working properly - but that's all. As a simple, upsized homestay, for what you pay per night, it is quite a good place.…
