I always travel to kuantan for work and i always check in this hotel coz its location nearby to malls. Everytime during my stay im so satisfied.

But my last visit i got a room that smell.. smell like previous hotel guest just left the room and the odour remain in the room.. yuckk!!! Or maybe they dont change the bedsheet which cause the smell linger on the room.i even smell the odour on the pillow case! (I just throw it & use alcohol spray hand sanitiser) They should use air refreshner & change the bedsheet!!! (Im so tried driving n dont have energy to change room).

Oh and prayer mat.. its smell like a rotten fish! Come on. Wash it or change a new one! Im so frustrating.

The entrance to the hotel can be tricky as the cluster of buildings look alike. Car park was ok.

Check in can be pretty slow during peak - and the weekend we were there certainly was a peak!

We took a 2BR family room - adequate space but quality of finishing is poor. The door to the bathroom couldn't close very well. Air cond was cool enough but can tell that the cleaners could do a better job.

With Covid SOP, it was adhered to when coming through the entrances - but once in, there definitely is no longer any physical distancing especially in the morning when everyone attempts to cram into the lifts.

Bars were not open and limited facilities.

Overall, an average experience.

1. Staffs especially frontdesk officers generally could do much better especially during the covid 19 period. Doesn't kill to smile. I feel more welcome by the security guards on both main entrance and parking entrance than the front desk.
2. Frontdesk officer refused to issue 2nd requested access card without deposit being pay first. It was a bit harsh by the fact thay i didn't have any cash with me and the hotel couldn't accept debit card for the deposit.
3. The hotel and room generally is ok. But basic room has no view at all!
4. I requested for an additional glass. It took around 45mins to be delivered to my room and what shocked me the glass was so dusty. I need to clean it myself before usage.
5. Breakfast was great with great selections and quality taste.

Will i return to this hotel? No. For a 5 star hotel experience i rather travel further to other hotels.

If location is important, i would father stay in any boutique hotel in Kuantan City because that's what i felt (general experience) when i stayed with Zenith.

Had to wait at least 1 hour to check in (despite traveling with kids & baby). And this was with 4 check in counters operating, says something about the efficiency. Room was made up last minute hence missed out a lots of essential things (ie: no garbage bin, sink was stucked, no kettle, no floor mat for toilet). Breakfast dining hall was extremely crowded and the queue was all the way till the hotel lobby itself hence we decided to give it a skip. The MCO should have thought the hospitality sector to be more hospitable but looks like there seems to be no lessons learnt.

im a regular guest, i always booked online with breakfast, my last visit require me to extend stay for 1 more night, when i ask the reception (syafika) she said you can rebook online and get 10% zenrewards discount, or pay as walk-in without any discount, because im already at the counter, i choose to pay walk-in price which is more expansive than online rate. Next day during breakfast i was informed that my room is without breakfast, and i ended up paying more for 2 pax breakfast. Very-very disappointing!

We booked 2 rooms - deluxe king & twin connecting room via direct call to the hotel. We reached the hotel to check in at almost 4.00 PM but they said the room was not ready yet. The deluxe king room was ready at almost 5.00 PM and the other room at almost 6.00 PM. I asked if I can check out a bit later the next day cause 2 hours were wasted just by waiting for our room to be ready and they only allow us to check out at max 1.30 PM the next day. And even threaten to charge us for late check out. Breakfast spread was ok. Swimming pool was not big enough it gets crowded.

A great hotel with good food but(!) I guess you guys should let the waiters at the breakfast buffet know the 'rules' or like be more attentive. I meant we already put a new full glass of water to 'mark' the table so that we can go and take the food but it's shocking to know that we came back with empty table. Lucky that the table is still available so we can still sit there~ This also happened to another woman (which she was alone so of course she won't leave her belongings) my parents saw. So yeah... The room is great btw and the location is good with malls nearby and opposite where we can just cross. Lol but it was funny we found a faux eyelash on the floor. I'm not sure whose it is and the next day even after the room was cleaned it was still there so...? xD Other than that, it's all good. Will revisit for sure.

I'm stayed for 2 night. Have to line up until 30 minute to check in and the staff operation is very slow and not systematic for big hotel like Zenith Hotel.

The toilet sink is slightly clogged but nvm the room still comfortable. The housekeeping very good and friendly.

During RMCO (Covid-19), the hotel must straightly follow the SOP especially in lift and swimming pool. The lift only can fix max 3 or 4 person but due to large numbers of people no limit inside lift and no guard to take care. The water in swimming pool also not really clean and was over crowded.

The deluxe king room offer a comfortable room to stay in. With high water pressure rain shower and bathtub make me feel refresh.
Breakfast is rate 4/5 and if the variety can be improving plus offer coffee machine.
