You can't enter your room each time you went out. The access card denial. Then they keep changing the card. Then repeated again & again. The bath tub with water choking, never clean up. Rubbish everywhere... Really my first ever 'super worst' experiance stay in hotel...

The budget rooms feels like entering a B-grade local horror movie. Long service corridors with room numbers missing from the doors. At 6AM, people came into our room because the lock is broken. The room had 4 beds too many. The man outside asks if it is his room. Our room technically doesn't exist. We packed our bags as fast as we could and fled.

I stayed for 1 night here on last minute booking . I found that the receptionist was friendly. I was given a room with 2 single bed . The room was clean with basic necessities provided. I found that the corridor was quite creepy with broken lights unrepaired, some cleaning tools are left at the corridor .The room uses lots of yellow lights instead of white type of lights with funny arrangements, make it looks even creepier. Why there should be a lamp on top of the LCD TV set ?. Are we supposed to watch TV with the lights on top of it? Instead, the other corner of the room is quite dark .
The moment i wanted to sleep around 1030, weird sounds came from the upper floor. I figured out someone or maybe more pulling chairs or table ..Hoping that would be temporary sound, i tried to be patient...Approaching midnite, no signs the sounds would gone. I called the reception using my cellphone since no in house phone provided in the room. She explained to me the staff were making table and chair arrangement for the next morning event....what? in the middle of midnight and disturbing the guests who were about to retire ?
She apologised immediately but i had to wait another half an hour for the sound to totally gone off. The next morning during my check out time, she became less friendly because she knew i was the one who make the complaint.
If the hotel management really concern on the customer service ( since i saw tripadvisor logo on the lobby entrance door ), you sure know what to do to improve further.

Check in on 19/8 and check out on 20/8. I had come across this hotel when I fail to get a stay in Sg.Lembing.

This hotel was very clean and the room that my family stay in was big and spacious. The toilet was fantastic with all needed available. Clean and tidy. TV is of the LED type and not as what Bukit Gambang Resort which a Cheapo TV and useless program air.

Food was decent and fresh. Envorement is clean and quite. I love this and I give thumb up for their helpfulness as I am from Kuala Lumpur, so I am an alien in Kuantan.

I will mark this as my frequent hotel in future stays.

2 times i came and check in to this hotel..
and 2 times i got trouble..

First Check in September 2013
-I found my room doesn't have air condition remote control. So, can you imagine how cools i on that time when clock turn to 3am.. huhu.. (Honestly,I feel like in Antarctica) Seriously, i can't sleep well..
-Almost light on that room is Dark Orange Color like Ghost House..

Second check in 21 October 2013
-For information, on 18 October 2013, Friday. I already booking room for 3 days 2 night from 21 October 2013 until 23 October 2013 by phone but when i arrived to this hotel in 22 October 2013 at 2am, the receptionist said my room hasn't reserved.. I told that guy that i've already books by phone through woman receptionist. With slow voice and fully manners that guys given me another room with same price as forgive present..

- Not just that, when i enter to bathroom almost taps has missing.. AND I found condom with dried sperm.. How gross is that..
-Air conditioner = still same, no remote control.. Antarctica againnnn....

Last but not least, i choose this hotel because i want to attending ceremony in my college near Taman Pertanian,Kuantan. so this hotel is not far from my college..

Finally..
On this 16 November 2013, I've a Grand Day Ceremony which is my Convocation Days at Dewan Jubli Perak Sultan Haji Ahmad Shah,Kuantan.Seriously, I am tired with this worst situation and i don't want it happen again and destroy my happiness life history ever..

So, i decided i choose The Zenith Hotel, Kuantan as My Special Convocation Present to celebrate my Grand Day and happy ever after.

It feels like a dorm converted to a hotel. There is no lift so if you're on third floor it's gonna be a workout. The breakfast buffet was minimal and service was so so.

The pros: room was spacious and clean enough.

The place was dirty and crumbling. The air con was not working well and the sockets were not fixed on the wall. Breakfast looked like very old leftovers. We couldn’t eat anything. When we asked to call a taxi for us to get to the bus station they didn’t help.
Really a place to avoid.
