Travelled with hubby & my daughter. A stop over before heading back to KL from Terengganu. The bed is comfortable, the lighting and deco of the room is cool. And the bathroom is huge.. love it. Overall I'm very satisfied with my stay there and would come back again in my future trips to Kuantan.
I have no problem with the place as I was not expecting 4 or 5 star facilities or services with the price I was paying for homestay. Overall, a decent place to put a night or two to move about Kuantan. Will revisit if I visit Kuantan again.
Looks nice on the outside but lack cleanliness in the inside. Great location as it's situated in the town center with highly accessible to malls & restaurants. Interior design were modern & rustic, nice but overly rustic over time as deco were old & filled with spider cobwebs, standing lamps on the corridor were rusty & yellowish & filled with cobwebs, there's even long string of cobwebs in the bathroom ceiling. Plenty of mosquitoes in the bathroom/room, and that's the least thing you want from being infected with dengue as it's dengue season (raining season) now. Furnitures in the room (bedframes, cupboards, table) were old as you can tell the colors of the wood had became lighter / faded. Got a room with a keycard that doesn't work at all, was very frustrated & asked to change to another room but the owner said the place was fully booked. In the end, they gave us a key to unlock/lock the door every time we leave the room. While checking out, the staff accused us of taking a spoon when only 1 spoon were given during our stay. In the end, they just say it's ok & we left. If they do refurbish this place & do a proper cleaning, I would definitely return here to stay.…
Great location in between beach and city centre. The modern and sleek design is very refreshing! Rooms are clean and comfortable. Staff is lovely and helpful. Would certainly stay again when next in Kuantan.
The room we got was nice and clean, the bed was very comfy! loved the ambience of the house. It was a unique concept though parking was a bit limited. Not too close to the city but if you have a car then that's fine. Overall we enjoyed the stay.
Comfy bed, subtle ambiance, location within the city area, worth a pay for a short stay-cation, modern design and minimalist. Love to come back again, as it rejuvenates your mind and body. For satay lovers, this place is near to Satay Zul, Kuantan.
I highly recommend it. A very cosy environment, clean and functional. The bed is super comfy and the receptionist was very friendly and helpful. Great value for money. Perfect location. Better than starred hotels.
I was browsing through the list of affordable accommodation in Kuantan for an ad-hoc weekend trip; and came across this unique name. The moment you step into the “lobby”, it environment sendiri dah memukau. The location is easy to find and terletak di tengah bandar Kuantan, and for someone yang familiar with Kuantan, memang tak disangka Kuantan ada guesthouse macam ni ❤️ Gonna come again soon, but nak try other room type pulak.
I came across this cool little place (converted from residential bungalows) here at Tripadvisor as I need a place to layover while on the way from Merang to KL. As this is just a short stop of 1 night, i'm not really looking into somewhere fancy that will burn a hole in my wallet. Given the affordable price, I was quite impressed by Silalima in terms of the arrangement and cleanliness of the place and not to mention, the place is never short of amenities too. It is close to the heart of Kuantan town and foods are aplenty nearby. The room and bath is equally spacious which is good enough to give a sense of comfort. My only qualms is if only the Wifi could be a little stronger. Truthfully speaking, I'm not a big fan of super soft pillow and mattress but that is just a personal preference. Overall it is a good place to be.…
sila lima caught my attention for the first time as i was driving along the main road of alor akar, kuantan. the first thing that caught my eye was its 7-foot walls that keeps the property private but at the same time shows just enough of the inside to get you curious. it turned out that i got to see it more of it that day as i ended up using the main road quite often during that trip. i have to admit, the name sila lima and that brief moment when it exposed itself to me kept playing on my mind well upon my return home. so it comes as no surprise that after a few months had passed. i chose to spend my stay in kuantan at sila lima. as a sucker for minimalist architectural & interior designs, silalima was the embodiment of what i love about minimalist designs; clean, multimaterial and simple. from the main lobby to the walkway and eventually to the individual rooms, the minimalist design language was used generously. for such a chick place, i was pleasantly surprised at how quiet the place was. mattresses was slightly on the soft side & they could do with slightly bigger rooms.…
