We confirmed the trip in very last minute so others hotel in city have been fully booked. This is our first time stayed here. The price for double room really cheap Rm69 per night. The hotel was very old fashion and run down but clean is ok. Recommend for short stay.
We stayed 1 night. Still considered very worth the price because it is hardly find this kind of price in Ipoh down town. We just walking 5 min to arrive to the famous restaurant nearby.
Stayed on August 2020.

Stayed here for 2 nights in October. Wasn't really impressed at first - the reception area is in need of refurbishment & there is no elevator. However, the room was alright & met our expectations. Got the room with 2 double beds, it wasn't cramped and was quite clean to our standards. The 'must have' basic amenities - air cond, TV, attached bathroom & water heater, were all included. Certainly not luxurious, but comfortable in an unassuming way. Was surprised that they have free Wifi, you don't get that often in hotels around the same price range!

Overall, it was worth what we paid for it. Location wise, it is situated on a quiet street off the main road, within walking distance away from various amenities. There is good food just a block away at night, if you don't mind walking in the dimly lit streets. You will find plenty of coffee shops & food stalls around the other side of the block during the day. Also located not far from the Ipoh Parade shopping centre, which is about a 10 minute walk away

What we liked - Quite well maintained, free wifi, quiet location, near to various amenities, value for money

What we disliked - The road leading to the hotel from the main road which was dark & unwelcoming at night, open uncovered car park

One of the most value for money hotels in Ipoh. Stayed in a room with my family of 5 ppl. The room has 1 double bed and 3 single beds. Only cost us RM 132 including GST. Room is clean with basic amenities like water heater. Has a lot of mosquitoes when we first went in but it's settled once we sprayed them.

Basic hotel, no fridge in room but one communal down the corridor but comfortable enough.

No food/breakfasts here but can make tea or a coffee down the hall in tiny communal kitchen. This is more a motel with no frills. Set in Chinese area adn a couplemof muslim eateries a block or two away.

No Lift -stairs only. Hot water in shower available. Small mini-mart shop but nothing else around here.

A little out of the way from main town. Taxi to or from main bus staion should NOTbe more than 18 RM at time of writing. (cost me less)
Bus about 2.50 RM from station at time of writing *small blue bus (exact change needed)

Friendly staff, cheap hotel, but could be cleaner. There is no breakfast at the hotel but many restaurants nearby. Definitely a good option considering there is no much choice of good hotels in Ipoh. Having taken a drink at the majestic, definitely would go back to the new caspian if we had to.

Stayed for a night. 2 females travelling together, got the corner room which felt a little unsafe. But it was clean and the receptionist was friendly to ask for directions. Convenient place, walking distance to the mall and to the old and new town for exploring. Would be better if a man is around, i feel.

Don´t expect any luxury in this hotel.
But as a budget choice this hotel is still very good.
The rooms are a bit worn out, but they are clean.
The bathrooms are also clean and having a very good hot shower( meaning good water pressure and very hot shower if you wan´t).
The location is ok, 15 minutes walk from busstand and trainstation.
The best thing is there is a great night market next doors where they serve excellent chinese hawker food. Ask fo directionns at the lobby.

i have stay here twice and i will stay here again. It's a simple budget hotel but they provide what we need, so it was good. Nearby there's also the famous "tong shui" road, so location wise was ok. There's no lift and the rooms are up stairs, so you may need to consider this, bathroom was ok, room was big enough, air cond was ok too. Compared this to Tune hotel, i think this is better, location wise.

Located in a relatively quiet corner, but close to good hawker food within 100m. The rooms are simple but clean, slightly but noticeably better than the Merloon Hotel opposite. It is a perfect location for transit or short stay (1-2 nights) as using it as a base to tour or revisit Ipoh town and its environ. The rooms good for 2-4 persons are within the range of M$82 (after a small discount). The only short-coming is that this hotel has no passenger (or goods) lift. But that could be a plus, to enable one eat more. Parking is free.

We only stayed here for one night and it really didn't leave the best impression. The room was littered with moth balls in every corner, which I suppose were there to masquerade the smell of stale cigarettes.
The toilet flush didn't work and the curtains were plastic?? and dirty. The next day my hair smelt of cigarettes and mothballs and so too did all the clothes in my pack.
