Ipoh Senses is a retreat designed for those who are looking for offbeat and close to nature way of living. Here, you can slumber in the depth of forest, shower under the rain and sip coffee before a running stream at convenient location.
Stayed in this hotel (which is not really listed as a hotel) for CNY. We liked the ambiance and decoration of the place. Rooms were spacious (Mango). Fadzli runs the place for the owner, and he was pretty helpful, polite and with a friendly customer service attitude. Things that we did not like and need attention are listed below: 1. Cleanliness: they do not clean every day but they give you toilet paper (1 per time) and towels (body and hand) and water bottles on request. This is not nice. Firstly, they need to give 2 toilet rolls, and the towels can get changed (buy new ones) as these are pretty used now. Bigger size towels could be a nice upgrade of the current ones. 2. No shoes in premises: We were told that no shoes or flip flops are to be worn inside the premises. This is a big no especially since we do not know the other guests, the cleaning regime and in general there are a lot of germs to keep your feet exposed. 3. Spring clean - the bathroom, and bedrooms and all appliances require a thorough spring clean especially the Mango room that we stayed. Will not upload photos but have if the owner needs to see them of areas that have been cleaned for a loooong time! 4. Breakfast: is very simple, could do with a few more options and for sure with some fresh milk for our coffee. 5. pest control: we found a few cockroaches walking in the premises and small flies inside the room. Because the floor is grey and with spots (technique) you are not able to spot them very easily making you feel quite insecure on what else there is in the room. We would go again, as the decoration is nice and the experience was not that bad - however, I would expect the notes above to be acted upon. Please note that during CNY the area will be extremely loud as it is located in a residential and the neighbours are setting off fireworks at all times of the day. We have instances where we were waking up at 0030 and 0650 just because people were celebrating. Maybe take a few ear plugs with you.…

Feels like home. Nice ambience. You can sit and relax at the living area. Kids love sitting beside the pond. But, remember to bring mosquito repellent because there's too many bushes. Easy access to restaurant and town. Quiet and peaceful.

This is the perfect place to unwind while not being too far away from home. It is very quiet at night, makes you feel like you are in a jungle with the sounds of insects from nearby field. Almost no motorbike/cars passing by, thus provides super privacy. very interesting decoration. Has very nice landscape to enjoy while having breakfast, although varities of breakfast is very limited. very helpful and informative staff. Love...love...love the Jacuzzi in Mango Room. Will definitely recommend this place.

A comfortable resort style homestay with very friendly service from the hosts. We stayed at the Pomelo room which has an open air shower and entry to the room was via stones on a pond. The neighbourhood was quiet and there was great views of the mountains.

Visited Ipoh Senses back in end July while we were doing our road trip from KL-Terengganu-Belum-Ipoh. Thus Ipoh is our last stop before going home. This B&B just opened in May 2016 and thus still very new. The owner had invested a lot in making this corner house in a residential area into a beautiful and cosy 5 bedrooms B&B. We love the strategic location, which is near the Jusco and not too far away from town. Plus, there are a few dedicated space by the field next to the B&B for parking. If it is full, there are always space along the road side that you can park. It gives you a feeling of home.

一踏进去的感觉就是舒服,可能只有几个房间的关系所以不会感觉到吵。房间也不会很小。I like their room and the washroom design. Because we need to attend the convocation at kampar, so we need to check out in the early morning around 6 am. However, they still ok with it😝. Conclusion, it is worth.
