Stayed here for a night for my short trip this time. Decided to try something different from the usual hotel in Ipoh. Surprisingly nice and felt like i am transported to another continent. Property is extremely well kept and clean. Will come here again if ever in Ipoh.
Stayed here for the long weekend holiday with my gal friends. The plan is eat, play, sleep repeat. So far The Tudor gave us high value sleeping experience! The beds are so clean, comfy and cozy. We've got the loft style room with 2 queen beds. it's very spacious and well designed. (Pro-tip: they are selling some of their design pieces with quite a price). They only managed few rooms so it's well maintained and cleaned regularly. It's located on the residential part of town and far from the buzzling old town area so it's really quiet. It's walking distance from an activity park so if you get bored, go there! Just one major con, there's no near place to get food form and they don't offer breakfast. There's coffee/tea making facilities and they have water refilling station too. Good thing there's Foodpanda and Grabfood around so we have options for food delivery when it's raining or when we are lazy to go out. Overall it's excellent experience for lodging and recommended when you stay in Ipoh.…
This was a lovely find. I've always loved an English Style Accomodation and this did not disappoint. The place was located in an old residential area opposite Dr Seenivasagam Recreational Park. We've booked a Duplex Family Room and personally loved the Attic Room. The beds were very comfortable, A/C working well, toiletries were provided, and there's a water refilling station on the ground floor too. No breakfast included but you're in Ipoh, so you should head to one of the local restaurants to get your breakfast fix. Some restaurants are walking distance (10-15 mins walk). The city center was further though - walkable 30 minutes. Can easily book a Grab as well.
My wife and I stayed here for a night. We paid RM225Nett. This place is a bungalow, located in an old residential area (more like a AirBnB). This is not a hotel! Good Points a) The bungalow compound and our rooms were clean. The air-cond was nice and cold, and come with balcony. b) The staffs were friendly. c) There a security guard at patrolling at night, overseeing the property. d) Well decorated. Bad Points a) Its not walking distance to any restaurants, pubs, shopping malls, public transport etc. There's a hospital and an open park nearby (15Min walk) b) There's no breakfast that comes with the room, No gym, No swimming pool etc. c) The queen size bed and the room itself is small. d) Limited car park space within the bungalow compound (Max is 7 Cars only). You can choose to stay in a good hotel for the same price RM225 per night Nett.…
Ipoh is my hometown and I don't usually stay in a hotel here but Tudor was a lovely find. We stayed in the 2 bedroom suite that was beautifully furnished and very clean. A small yet lovely lounge area for us to watch tv though both bedrooms also had tv's in them. A great suite for a family or friends that want a common area to hangout. Shower was great with good pressure and air-conds were cool. Toileteries were also provided. The hotel staff were informative, friendly and helpful. We went as the MCO has just lifted so I was glad to seem them sanitize both us and our bags. We also saw them cleaning one of the rooms and glad to see the staff was sanitizing everything. Check-in & checkout was a breeze. The whole place is instagram worthy so I suggest you take some time out to click a few pictures before you leave. They also have beautiful antique articles that you can purchase. Tudor is centrally located and near to all the famous eating spots. I would definitely return again.…
We stayed in the 2 bedroom suite. Beautifully furnished and very clean. A lovely lounge area to watch tv and both bedrooms also had tv's. A great suite for a family. The hotel staff are lovely and were very helpful. A 20 minute walk to the town centre. The hotel have car parking tickets that you can buy at reception. We drove first then walked as it is very busy and not easy to find car park spaces during the day. Loved our stay here and would not hesitate to book again.
Service is exceptional. I have stayed in so many places in Ipoh and I would say it is the best stay I ever had in Ipoh. I would give them 5 stars for service, cleanliness and design. thank you for making us feels just like home!
The Tudor is the best place I ever stayed in Asia and one of the best places in the world!! The decoration is very classy and the view from the game room is wonderful with a lot birds flying around. It is very quiet at night which give me a very good sleep. The staff are very hospitable.
The bungalow converted hotel is a lovely place and located at the quiet corner of the housing area facing a neighborhood park. It is short drive to town and a good base for traveler with car. I love the deco of the building and the room, the owner takes into consideration of every detail to make the stay comfy. The room is clean and cozy. There are parking inside the compound too.
Lovely place with interesting decor. The layout allowed guests to enjoy their privacy. We stayed at the two bedroom suite (with one bathroom and a sitting room) on the ground floor. Rooms were clean, well appointed and came with a nice garden view. The security was good and there was a guard at night. The location is slightly off the main road but very quiet. It is only a short drive to city centre, other popular food outlets as well as tourist attractions and amenities. The owners were very friendly and helpful, made us felt totally at home. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will most certainly go back.
