I had a 6D5N retreat at The Banjaran under the Rejuvenation Retreat programme. It's an all-inclusive programme which includes accommodation, meals from a detox menu, spa treatments and optional wellness activities such as yoga or meditation sessions. It's the best thing I've done for myself in my birthday month and after a hectic period at work. The service was always lovely, from the hospitality team at the front desk, the housekeeping team, the spa and wellness team and the F&B team at Pomelo and Jeff's Cellar. I was treated like royalty. I was fed really well and the dishes in my programme were almost always wonderful. Had a salad and a dessert that were too acidic for my liking, and a smoothie that was too tart. But honestly, in the grand scheme of things, those were easy for me to overlook. The spa sessions were wonderful and the therapists knew how to hit the right spots. The lush vegetation, the geothermal pools and lake, the limestone cliffs really add to the heavenly atmosphere of the entire resort. I'm already planning to be back! Thank you, Banjaran!…

We booked the Banjaran for the middle weekend of a two week second honeymoon. It was meant to be the highlight, and filled that role perfectly. From the moment we arrived we felt like we were being pampered in a very special place. Our water villa was absolutely lovely, and it was tempting to stay there, relax, and enjoy the tubs etc. But it was also worth venturing out to enjoy the various pools and caves. Jeff's Cellar provided an amazing dinner on our arrival night, and we chose the 'In Private' BBQ to be served in our room for the second night, which was amazing (but way too much food for us to finish). A few reviews mention problems with bugs and monkeys. I managed to pick up a few bug bites on the golf cart ride to the villa, and after that the supplied repellent mostly kept them away. But it's probably a good idea to apply repellent before arrival. The resort isn't particularly bad though - I got a similar batch of bites on an evening walk through Singapore. We were treated to the spectacle of the monkeys sat on our villa roof tearing apart a packaged loofah they'd pinched from a service cart, but that was more amusing than problematic. A two night stay felt about right. We could have maybe kept ourselves occupied for another day, but there's only so much hot tub one can take.…

We celebrated our anniversary at The Banjaran. It was a really relaxing stay even if it was for one night, there was always something to do and see. The resort is breathtaking and well-maintained. The staff service is truly exceptional, with everyone super helpful and friendly. We had dinner at Jeff's Cellar which was a whole experience on its own, worth the splurge. Will definitely recommend this place if you are looking to escape the city.

My husband and I went for a short baby moon trip in Banjaran Resort and really enjoyed our stay. I especially enjoyed the breakfast and the thoughtfulness from the resort to celebrate our baby moon with room decors and some gifts. I appreciate the pregnancy pillow the resort prepared for me as it really helped me to sleep better. While I find the services satisfactory, my husband commented that the staffs are professional but missing a personal touch. However, I personally find that okay. Thank you for a pleasant stay!

Overall enjoyable with gorgeous surroundings. The set up is more suitable for couples than anyone else. Food and service at Pomelo restaurant was impeccable. The food and service at Jeff’s Cellar was amazing. The interior design of the restaurant was one of a kind but theatrical in a way. I felt that the bellboy I encountered on the first day could have been more attentive and considerate.

The moment we step into the resort,the service was impeccable. The staff here are so courteous and friendlyl! They are very attentive and answer every question with confidence. The villa here is so remote and exclusive. You can enjoy a very relaxing and quiet moment with your partner while enjoying the hotspring tub and the pool to cool off. The restaurant called Pomelo where the breakfast is serve is simply superb! I have traveled to alot of hotels and this restaurant definetely is my no.1 top choice of breakfast! Just a reminder please be mindful of the monkeys around the villa,try to hide whatever food u bring in cos they are able to smell it and will hang around the roof of the villa.But not to worry as theres a fake toy tiger in the villa to scare off the monkeys! My wife and I enjoyed a day spa experience here with complementary lunch and use of the facilities from 10am-7pm. It was great. Hot tubs, steam room/cave, normal pool etc. shame the Dr Fish pool was out of order. Had the best 90 minute pampering massage and enjoyed the day so much we stayed for dinner in the evening. Would like to come back one day.

The room was fantastic and spacious, the staff was amazingly gracious. Loved all every bit. We were pleasantly surprised when we came back from breakfast to find out room all made up and decorated with ‘Happy Birthday’ on the bed and rose petals scattered on the bed. There was also a piece of cake. Never thought it would be like this. The best thing about any hotel or resort is the people who work in there. The people at The Banjaran made our day. They were so helpful and polite in every manner possible. They have my utmost respect. Dining at Jeff’s Cellar is something one should not miss. The ambience is beyond words. From the food preparation to the service - everything was commendable, something that we have not seen in all our travels. The dining experience at Jeff’s cellar is a class of its own.
