We arrived late at night from JB and were pleased to find a nice room with a comfortable king-size bed. However, we did notice that the cleanliness of the shower glass door and wall in the toilet could have been better. Additionally, there was some noise from the air conditioning compressor. Despite these minor inconveniences, we managed to get a deep sleep due to our exhaustion.

Our room had a view facing a nearby shoplot, and the hotel's proximity to a petrol station made it convenient for refueling after a long-distance drive.

The breakfast was truly awesome, with a wide variety of delicious options and a spectacular view. It was the perfect way to refresh ourselves after a long journey the previous night. We had the pleasure of meeting Chef En Nizam, who was exceptionally nice.

It's worth mentioning that there was an additional charge of 38 nett for the breakfast of a third person. The hotel also provided a welcome drink voucher, which we used in the morning before checking out. The lounge was a pleasant surprise, offering a great selection of ice cream, cookies, biscuits, coffee, and tea. This was a delightful offering for a non-international brand hotel, surpassing our expectations compared to bigger brand hotels.

Thank you for providing such a memorable experience!

Stayed here with my family last Christmas. Rooms are clean, nice and spacious, worth the price. Location is also good! Nearby to Restaurants and malls. Mcdonald's is just next door. Staffs are friendly too. I will definitely stay here again!

This is not my first, second or third time being here. i would stay here at least twice a month. Therefore, yes this hotel is like my home whenever im in Ipoh.

1) Customer service - the customer service would recognize and remember me! Whenever i would like to book a room, I would just say my name and wallaaaaa. I would get a special rate obviously. lol

2) Easy access - North South Highway...

3) Room - Superior & deluxe & executive suite. been to these three types of room. For me, the diff between superior & deluxe is just a couch. the executive suite is super nice. but i barely can feel the air conditioning at bed.

4) Breakfast - Has been upgraded from time to time (since 7th floor , now to 20th floor).

P/s: try the ladies theme room.

I stayed in MH Hotel for 2 days. It was a business trip. Good service. And the location is perfect for night outing. This hotel has a Sky Lounge which has a marvelous view of Ipoh Town. Worth staying and I would love to visit again and this time for vacation :)

Booked this hotel online because I needed a family room for the three of us. They checked us in a room on the 8th floor. So on the first night, I experienced all the noise coming from the skylounge (on the 7th floor) even after midnight.

We promptly requested a change of rooms. So they moved us to the 14th floor the following day. So I must say the service personnel were quite accommodating. They even upgraded us to the executive room, which was much bigger, and charged us less. So on that score I was a happier guest.

The free breakfast that comes with the room, was mediocre, better to take a snack there then explore Ipoh town for better fare. For supper, I actually went 'next door' to the McD's.

There is no swimming pool at all much to my child's dismay. The spa is not part of the hotel.

The location is not too bad, close to entertainment, food and Ipoh town.

The views from the windows of the rooms were not too shabby (I was there when the Indonesian haze was in full swing and had even encroached Ipoh).

Pros :
1) the hotel's location is great, it is located just next to the exit to the north-south highway (Ipoh utara exit) which can b easily found.
2) the room I booked ( family suite) is spacious.
3) superb views at night.

Cons :
1) the front desk receptionist have cold faces, no wellcome upon check in, and no thank you when check out.
2) the room's washroom's cleaning is not done properly where the used towels of other guests is still in the washroom and the amenities is missing.
3) the hotel's car park space is small, you need to have car racer's skills to park your car in the hotel.

The hotel staffs may need some trainning on how to deal with customers and for the hotel's cleanning stuff, please not just clean the room and replace the bed sheet, the used towels must be replaced and toothbrush from previous guest ought to be throw away!

Wow... MH Hotel Ipoh is the place to be. My wife stayed at MH Hotel Ipoh over the week for a business trip and she came back to KL with nothing but PRAISES, PRAISES & MORE PRAISES for the staff, the Hotel's excellent services and her Executive Suite!!

The Hotel arranged everything for her since I wasn't with her, including her transportation to and fro (which was excellent I heard). The reception staff was very very helpful and my wife says many thanks!

My family has had many enjoyable stays at MH Ipoh and both my boys would never want to stay at any other Hotel that's for sure. They so love MH Hotel Ipoh and the friendly staff.

Even my recent stay in November 2014 was excellent. Both my wife and me were very well looked after and taken care of. We love the business lounge at MH Ipoh as its ideal for discussions and coffee/tea. They have also revamped the SkyBar and it looks pretty cool at night, not to mention its awesome view. Great place to chill with a beer!

I would really like to extend a big Thank You to Mr.Melvin, Mr.Kandhan (who usually handles all my reservations via email) and to all the staff at the reception this week who really made my wife feel at home during her stay over the week!.

We will be back in April 2015 for business and we look forward to staying at MH Hotel Ipoh once more!. Do keep doing what you do and I sincerely believe many will support your establishment!.

Thank you very much MH Hotel Ipoh!

This hotel has a great location. I choose this hotel because it's near the highway. Usually I will not write a review of a hotel. If you like karaoke, please stay here. You can hear the karaoke session from the skybar in the room. Even after midnight. Please consider when you stay here. Ask for room further from the skybar. Stayed in room 1307
