Three of us stayed in a family room which had 1 king-size bed and two single double-decker beds. The room was neither big nor too small. You may ask the reception to provide iron+ironing board, hair dryer and plug extension (since there is only 1 socket in the room). The hotel is located in a housing area in Ipoh Garden. Tesco and Aeon are 5-minutes drive from the hotel and McDonalds is a 5-minute wwalk from the hotel.

For the price, this is a great hotel. Convenient to in expensive restaurants in walking distance. Free parking. Good internet. Staff is of top standard, close to Tesco and a short walk from a Kinta City Mall. No complaints. For the price, the room are clean and comfortable. Very happy with the bed. Just wished we had some English language channels on the television though. A very big thank you to the staff members of Art Cottage Hotel. They made our stay very comfortable.

Very clean, comfortable bed and environment, friendly staff and professional help desk, near to tesco and aeon, easy and plenty of car parks and safe even during peak season. 6km drive to lost world of tampun.

Expects to stay in a partitioned room with no window, fresh air or fan (only aircond), with low quality of amenities. Good for those that are exhausted (that couldn't care less about noises - even whisper outside the room was heard clearly), clean room but please bring own towel (as the towel provided had a strong odor), and also blanket for those that cant stand the funny smell of it. Be ready to be woken up with noises from the toilet pump when the next door room uses their toilet, kids running and shouting to be heard clearly. Overall, it was okay, but it can be better. With the price, can easily top up Rm30-40 to get proper hotel instead of this shop lot hotel.

Went to Ipoh early Sept. Check in this hotel and found this superb hotel. The room price really value for money, very cozy room. Near to Tesco Ipoh Timur and AEON Kinta City. Easy to look for variety of food. Close to PLUS highway exit. Very friendly and helpful staff.

The hotel is being rated as 2-3stars*, and seems to be fairly NEW. It is on top of some shop houses and facing the main road. The décor is modern and the rooms are well kept. It follows the current trend of BOUTIQUE Hotels, which takes the trend set by IBIS Hotel chain. It is a small hotel. The staff are friendly and helpful. THERE IS NO DINNING facilities. The location is out from the main town centre; and transport scare. It is more suited for travellers with own transport. There are many eatries and two SUPER MART near by. Good value for money.

The place is located near to the cafe & restaurant area that is quite alive at night. The hotel is small but suitable for family. It's clean, stylish, with modern card tap access and pretty much affordable. We booked for 2 nights, and ended up extending for 1 more night because we liked to explore Ipoh places which are mostly reachable within minutes from our accommodation. The parking is not free, but it's covered by the hotel. For better service in the future, I suggest the hotel to provide options for breakfast, lunch and dinner. And also bigger connected access from the room and entrance.

We found the staff to be very friendly, accommodating and helpful. Their approach to customer service was excellent and professional. The hotel entrance décor was well appointed, had a homely feel and themed well for the Christmas season. The rooms were clean, neat, and very comfortable. The décor through out was attractive. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Was very pleasantly surprised by the tastefully done decor, which made my stay even more likeable. Staff were very friendly and efficient, the room was well designed and comfortable. There are many restaurants within walking distance to choose from. Parking spaces are ample for those on driving holidays.
