I stayed for 8 days visiting relatives in Ipoh and I got a room for 3 people. The room was good with enough space for us and the beds were comfortable and clean. I found only some dust inside a couple of drawers that are not probably checked by the cleaning personnel. Breakfast was included in the room price and the quality was pretty good, not many varieties of food but they changed menu every day so it was not boring and it was more than enough for a good meal. I will be back for sure when visiting Ipoh. Even if we had few little problems, the service of the hotel was always ready and quick in fixing them. In the end it was a satisfactory experience!

Pros: Rooms were quite nice Staff were courteous and helped and guided us for sight seeing and in getting a cab Quite close to airport. Cons: Not many amenities like spa. But basic snacks are available, there is a restaurant too. Food is okish.

Stayed 2 nights in Feb 22. The room we stayed in was a Superior King Room. The room was spacious but -water bidet was leaking badly when used. -sink was clogged. -the lighting was really bad. Too dim for a spacious room. -carpet really needs a clean/change. Badly soiled. -there was a dead lizard on the balcony floor. Yikes. -2 tv but very limited channels. -shower water temp was too low and not consistent. -coffee cup too small to prepare hot drinks. -dirt and cobweb at room corners and behind door. Thus, not worth what we paid. Its weird seing 5 stars rating here. I would give 1 star if not for the parking space. Definitely not staying here anymore.

I travelled to Ipoh in March 2020 for business purpose. I stayed in Symphony Suites Hotel. Due to Movement control order in Malaysia and International Travel restrictions, I had to be in Hotel room for 90 days. I was the only guest in hotel when Kinta area declared as red zone of Covid-19 infection. Other Guest were local Malaysian and checked out to return their home. Even if having limited resources, I got full support from hotel manager Mr. Kumar and all other staff members including Mr. Naggappan. Special thanks to Ms. Deevya who arranged vegetarian food for me in tough time. I recommend Symphony Suites hotel for safe and Hygiene place to stay in Ipoh, Malaysia.

Check in/out was fast. Family room was spacious and clean. The downside was that the whole premise was warm –this includes the room, function hall and lobby. We had requested for the maintenance team to check the room air conditioning unit. The personal informed us upon checking the unit that everything was in perfect condition. We beg to differ. Breakfast buffet was totally disappointing, there was no variety and the trays were practically empty. Ample parking bays in and around the hotel. There is a serene view from the 10th floor balcony.

Comparing with other properties in Ipoh the price is quite high and the property does not deliver. The room is average and the breakfast is just very basic. Similar properties are about half the price. So far we have been struggling to find the right property in Ipoh. Also Symphony Suites is off our list, we keep on searching.
