Initially thought it was a clean and properly maintained budget friendly hotel based on their listings on booking platforms, but was surprised to see such badly maintained facilities and rooms.

The walls are dirty, aircond has a mouldy smell and constantly makes a rattling noise.

The bathroom has a broken hangar and mould on the ceiling.

Overall not happy with the purchase, won't come back again.

New hotel and facilities are mostly adequate. Good shower, clean hotel.

Drawbacks: 1. The hotel in far from the city centre (6kms according to my GPS), there are no bus services nearby so you will have to rely on taxis costing about 20 Ringgit each way.

2. There is no secure storage. No safes in the room and the hotel staff do not have a safe deposit facility. Which means you cannot leave anything valuable in the room and have to carry everything, which is not practical.

3. There is no refrigerator in the room, would be great as Ipoh is a warm place. There is no wardrobe or table, so bags have to be on the floor.

4.There is a list of 32 items that they will charge you as compensation from use of the Tissue box to loss of the gargle cup (seriously , I have a picture of this!)

Overall, I am glad I am only staying here for a day

I am staying for 2 nights at this hotel. When I just entered the hotel room, the floor was sticky and dirty! I called for housekeeping and a lady came to my room and mop the floor. In my second day of stay, I went out for trip and came back to hotel room at 5 pm, and the room has no housekeeping at all. Towel remained unchanged, bathroom still wet. The registration staff's attitude was the worst that I have seen in hotel industry. No second stay for me.

We stayed there for 2 nights. When we entered the room, there was a strong smell coming out from the bathroom. In the evening, toilet overflowed. The next day, housekeeping never showed up until we called. We requested for a kettle but never show up (we called for 3 times) until we personally go to the reception desk and get it. Hotel staff unfriendly. Wifi signal is poor. No fridge, writing desk and chairs. We would not recommended this hotel especially for family stay.

Book queen room for short staycation for husband and i.
Room was dirty, there’s hair on the floor everywhere.
Theres urine on the toilet bowl the moment we entered the room
Theres a string of hair on the towel that was folded nicely n hang on the toilet for us to use.

Such a disaster for us who travels frequently doesnt matter which type of hotel it is.

Request to change room was denied as first informing us we need to add on some cash for premier room and second time asked there were no rooms available because somebody else is interested in the premier room.

They only offered to clean up ( touch up as they claimed) while we are put from the room as we have events to attend during our stay in Ipoh.

Bad customer service, supervisor on dity was not helpful but instead was very rude.

Contact Agoda as room was booked under Agoda. Complain and request for a full refund. Request being fulfilled by Agoda.

Not recommended for anyone!

For Kuala Kangsar Branch. Because there is no specific review for K.Kangsar.
I've been staying here 1 night. Lucky for 1 night. Stayed here because they show really HIGH CLASS picture. Book a deluxe suite and expected a big room like in the picture. But hell no! It's a lie! The picture does not as same as the room!

A Bangladeshi who stays at the counter, make the check in and slow. The room is opposite the main road and quite noisy. Bad maintenance where dirty floors and dusty bed. Toilet not functioning well enough and small. And the most FUNNY things is that the Aircond is not facing the bed instead in other area blocking the coolness of the aircond! Why on earth do u do that?????!!!!

And why don't u have any kiblat sign in the room? When we ask ur worker, they need to search every room for the kiblat. And guess what? They ask to paste the kiblat sign instantly.

For RM158 deluxe suite for 3 pax. I'm not sure for the price and the condition of the hotel. We can get other hotel much more cheaper or for the same price but much more STARS.

Need to do more work on your NEW hotel and don't put pictures that is not as same as in Agoda or your website. We can report it to Persatuan Pengguna for this matter. Please take note! Thank you.

I checked in to this hotel last weekend as I went back to Ipoh for tomb sweeping. The hotel is pretty far from town. So, if you have no car, it will be very inconvenient to stay in this hotel. The rooms are at a reasonable size with complimentary Wi-Fi in the room. However, the room stinks - smelled like burst toilet. Since it was only 1 night stay, we didn't bother to complain.

Booked a standard twin room.
I requested to change my room to ensure I could sleep soundly at night as I can hear a baby non stop crying from next door due to poor soundproof.
Paid extra RM30 to upgrade to Premiere King Suite.
Again, I'm disappointed once I stepped into toilet. The toilet was smelly which I have no idea where the smell came from. Poor soundproof as I can still hear the voice of every motorcycle and car pass by on the street. The curtain did not block the sunlight.
Overall, bad experience other than it's attractive price.

Good:
Its a new hotel, so most of the furnish are still in good condition. Nice ambient for a hotel. Located nearby Politeknik Ungku Omar which i think will be convenient for parents to stay. There is shop and cafe nearby. Theres a massage area at the lobby.

Cons:
the hotel located right beside a school, so you'll be hearing kids singing and activities on weekdays especially in the morning.
The parking are quite insecure as usually most of the car park in front of hotel are occupied.
