Good location with 20 minutes walk from Ipoh train station . Situated between old and new town. Can get voucher to go gym within few minutes walk from hotel.Very similar furniture and fitting room set up with Tune Hotel and I found out it’s used to be Tune hotel.

Some improvement I could see:
No boiling kettle and free drinking water provided in the room. However we can refill water from the common walkway outside of room. No free coffee sachet and slippers provided .

A very modern hotel with friendly staff. One of the nearer hotels to the old town (5-8 minutes) which is a plus.

Lovely bathroom with excellent powerful shower. Placed to eat nearby. WiFi a little hit & miss only downside we could think of.

Hotel is not well maintained, walls are stained, bed linens are quite worn out as well as the towels which are quite used and old. The room is small but luckily the air-con works well and water pressure is decent. Would not return again.

Overall during my visit to this hotel last month, the warm reception that i got from the receptionist on duty just made my day. I can remember the smile of the metal teeth girl with this luxury of smile, subsequently almost remind of a beautiful Malaysian actress Maya Karin! With her kindness, politeness, sweetness, and mesmerizing smile, I believe with this kind of attraction and attitude will always left an awful lots of love in my heart as a customer. I will surely come again the next time i pay a visit to Malaysia. Afterall, excellent services attract customers. Well done pi hotel for your good services.

During Check-In time, the front counter lady (with braces) was very unfriendly & not attentive at all.

The room was certainly one of the dirtiest room I've ever experienced. You can see tons of dust on the window, fan, table and tv cabinet.

The wooden floor was so filthy and the stain on toilet seat make me so sick although this hotel has just started business six months ago !

The entire experience ruined my entire vacation and i will never be going back to this hotel or recommending it to any of my friends.

The room was not at all what i booked.

I feel that I was completely miss-led via your website, booking process & the very positive feedback that I seen on website!

Came to Ipoh over the weekend for a wedding dinner. Decided to stay at Hotel Pi since the dinner venue is just across the road from the hotel. My room was booked online and prepaid, check-in was relatively quick and they collect a RM50 deposit.

As expected, the room was small but acceptable if you just need a place to rest and sleep. Considering the room size, bathroom was bigger than expected and it doesn’t feel cramped like in some other budget hotels. They provide 2 bottles of drinking and there is even a water dispenser if you need more. 2 thumbs up for that!

What I like most about this hotel is the underground car park and you don’t have to park at roadside or open-air parking. It feel much safer n secured. In fact you are encouraged to park in the car park if you come during the weekend as there is a pasar pagi on Sunday morning and you won’t be able to get out until early afternoon.

A good base to explore the sleepy town of Ipoh as this budget hotel is within walking distance to Old Town and is in New Town. The hotel used to be Tune Hotel, which is run by AirAsia, so the rooms have a decent stand of furnishing – a spacious queen-sized bed (though one side is blocked by the wall; not so good for couples), lighting switches are within easy reach from the bed, ample clothes bar and a small table to put miscellaneous stuff. Smooth TV connection and very effective water heating.

My only gripe (a small one) is that the room service is not regular. I need to request for room service after my room was left unattended to for two days. But, this will not make or break my trip.

I also love that the hotel is very near to a 24-hour KFC outlet, Wateg Ipoh, a local café and The Store supermarket. It is a pleasant seven-minute walk to the daily night market and Lou Wang Chicken Beansprouts restaurant in Jalan Foo Yet Kai, Kampung Jawa, which is the heart of the eating district. Ask for a room on the higher floor (sixth floor onwards) with a city view.

The hotel has a huge car park and free for guests which is good. Check in was professional and location is good.

However we were only given two bath towels which is greyish in colour which we believe they were once white.

Slight tear in the bedsheets. Fan speed was not adjustable. The most alarming part was there was no phone to contact front desk!

Security at hotel is good with card access lift to floor unit. Location is great. Walking distance to all famous Ipoh Street Food, Ipoh Parade Shopping Centre, Heritage Trail & Street Art. There's a Pizza Hut, Kentucky Fried Chicken and the famous Pusing Restaurant nearby. Railway & Bus station are 10 minutes away. Airport is 15 minutes from hotel.
