A very modern hotel with friendly staff. One of the nearer hotels to the old town (5-8 minutes) which is a plus. Lovely bathroom with excellent powerful shower. Placed to eat nearby. WiFi a little hit & miss only downside we could think of.

used to be owned by air Asia under their Tune budget hotel chain. No complaint as a seasoned global budget traveller like me whose only expectation is safe, clean, functional, well located(depends on your needs as to whether it's near food or attractions). It fits the bill with price without frills. As to a comment below staff are not communicative, you need to appreciate most employees whom take on the role are not highly trained or paid professionals. If you can speak malay ( I m a Malaysian) you will not perhaps encounter such issues. so no compliants. If you are local , you can get a 15% discount using a Maybank credit card for the festive period.

The standard double room we had was very small with barely enough space on the floor for our bags. No wardrobe, just 3 hangers hanging over a counter. No drawers, just 2 side tables. No fridge but there was a safe. No coffee-making facilities but we were provided with 2 bottles of drinking water every day and there was a water dispenser near the lift for us to refill our bottles which was very appreciated. The room was clean and looked quite new. Comfortable bed. We like it that private parking is always available in the basement with a security guard (though he was absent from his post most of the time!) A lift is available in the basement to access the lobby and higher floors - we could only access our floor using our room access card - good security. A few restaurants and eateries nearby. Good for a short stay.

Location : Convenient and near to a lot of eateries Room : Small but clean. Come with toiletries and bottles of mineral water. Water dispenser available near the lift. Aircon is not cold enough even at 17 degree Celsius so need to switch on the ceiling fan as well Car park : basement. Plenty of space. Can park by the side of the hotel. If you are looking for a place to short stay, it is quite decent hotel. At the moment, still look quite new and well maintained.

I stayed here for one night in July. The room though small, was clean. It had the basic amenities and I was told it was previously owned by Tune hotels. The WiFi was fine, though I found the air conditioning to be problematical. The room was not cool even though I reduced the temperature to 17C. The staff who came to fix the problem gave me the remote control so that I could increase the fan speed. But to no avail. I didn’t ask for a change of rooms because it was for one night. Apart from this, I think the front desk staff could be a bit friendlier. They seemed a bit stand offish.

The bathroom could be more cleaned. They had ads in the elevator showing gym facility, but truth is it had been shut down. The price per night was cheap. The location nearby to the Ipoh centre. So everything quite walking distance, or actually reacheable by food panda service. The hotel located in front of Sunday Market, but can park vehicle at their basement for free.

The hotel is conveniently located within walking distance to the old town. There are also lots of cheap local restaurants and a 7/11 close-by, and on Sundays, it is on the same street as the weekly street market, where you can find some cheap bargains! There is a bar next door, that plays very loud music until 1am, so upon check-in, request one of the back rooms which are further away. The room itself is good. The bed is comfortable and the shower has decent pressure/ hot water. The only downside is that there isn't a fridge in the room, but there is a water dispensing machine by the lifts so you can get hot/cold drinking water. It's a good hotel for the price, and I would recommend it.

This property is in a good location in the city. The hotel is clean and provides a simple nice and clean small room with comfy bed, tv, free wifi and an attached bathroom with toiletries and a safe box. There are local food eatery and a nice Chinese restaurant just opposite the hotel. Short walk to the mini-mart and KFC etc. If you happen to be there on a Sunday there is a flea market in the morning which is quite interesting to see, just in front of the hotel. The stay is value for money for the comfortable room, plus the hotel provided an underground car park which is very convenient for those who drive.

Picked this location due to high average ratings on agoda. Was dissapointed as I had stayed with numerous hotels with similar ratings. The pros: excellent location, free parking and nearby all the food places. Service is top notch too. The cons: had to request for a room change due to air conditioning being a bit cranky (noisy from some alarm setup) and faulty power socket (crackle sound whenever trying to charge the phone). 2nd room ain't problem free either. Firstly the toilet seat is loose so had to be careful when seating on it. No soap (someone didn't bother refilling it). Don't bother with the TV as no watchable channels. Overall if you are not planning to stay long here then you can consider this hotel due to the close proximity to all the food and mall. If you are planning for more than a night stay then you might need to reevaluate your options.
