Detailed Reviews

Only stayed for a night. Room is clean, with basic amenities like a kettle, 2 sachets of instant coffee, 2 cup, 2 small bottles of water n slippers. Water dispenser outside the life. Despite being near the roads, can hardly hear the traffic inside the room.
A few restaurants, bakeries and convenience stores within the same row as the hotel.
Front desk staff, Jess was very friendly and pleasant.

After horrible experience in Taiping we were a bit apprehensive but were delighted to find that this hotel was a complete contrast. It is modern and clean with decent sized rooms and storage. The A/c was cold, the water was Hot, the fridge worked, as did the wifi.
The reception staff were pleasant and helpful and there's a great Dim Sum restaurant next door. Will definitely stay here again.

I booked the Deluxe King room through booking.com. Not only did I receive the confirmation email from the hotel, I also specified my arrival time to the hotel.
As I was at the RnR at Tapah ( it was around 11:30pm also that it was only about 20 - 30 minutes to Ipoh ), I decided to give the hotel a call to let them know I'll be arriving a bit late.
Here's what happen:
When I called the lady on the phone who was terribly rude. She even told me that the hotel was fully booked and I told her I had explained that I made a booking already. ( she also raised her voice to me which was disrespectful )
Then she passed it to her colleague, a guy, they had told me that they had given the room that I booked to
the other guest.
He also told me he tried to call me and my phone was not in the system, hence he gave my room away ( which was untrue as he called me again after saying that they had cancelled my booking -- now my phone is in the system huh? ) also he said that I had to make a confirmation by 1pm in which he told me that they had email me and so. ( which was also untrue as I have not receive any email for me to re - confirm the room, in fact I receive a confirmation letter from THEM saying that the booking is secured )
When I explained everything he also had the nerve to ask me to put everything aside, after I caught him trying to make up lies on why they cancelled my room without acknowledging me, and say that he'll try to find other hotel nearby. What I wanted was a room in which they couldn't offer me.
As a new hotel in the market this was by far the worse thing to do. To make up lies to guest as if they're stupid.
Please look into this and I'm sorry to say that I'm not making any booking to this hotel ever again.

My friend and I actually stayed at their homestay and not this hotel. Anyway the uncle and aunty were really nice and caring, recommended us for the assam laksa at the nightmarket across the street before sending us to the homestay in their car. The homestay is just around 5 mins drive from the hotel itself, very new and clean with the security guardhouse just outside. Most fascinating thing in the room is the extremeeely diverse set of lighting installed LOL, i.e. around 9 switches just for different lighting effects!
Comfortable and clean. Worth a stay at such value price, if you have transport!

Initially my brother booked Parkview Homes instead of this hotel for our one night stay in Ipoh. However, we were arranged to stay in this hotel as the alternatives. The room is clean and new. Although there was a blackout at the night when we were staying, they fixed it as fast as possible so that we can have a good night sleep on time. The hotel managers are so friendly and helpful in recommending food places for us to try the best tastes in Ipoh. I will definitely stay in this hotel again if I revisit Ipoh.

Stayed at this hotel for two nights at the start of our recent Malaysian tour, our well priced junior suite was ideal, clean spacious and comfortable, in addition to a great dim sum restaurant in the same building would definitely stay here again.

bit far from ipoh town, but that is not a problem at all if you have car, very clean hotel and the staff was so friendly, she reccomended many good foods to us, sound proof in room is weak, can listen clearly when someone is walking at the hotel corridor, overall is a nice place to stay, will come back again for my next trip!

We stayed here for 2 nights and loved it, the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. We stayed in a deluxe room which has windows that open - a definite bonus and well worth paying the extra, the standard rooms are in the interior of the hotel and don't have windows - but this may not be a problem for some people.
Our room faced the front of the hotel and was extremely comfortable, the beds were of a premium brand and you really tell as we had a great nights sleep; the bathroom is very modern, clean and in great condition and the room felt very spacious.
There is parking in the streets nest to the hotel, and the hotel is situated in a quiet residential area a few Km from Ipoh centre, so having your own transport is a plus.
I also highly recommend - the tandoori grill restaurant - about 15 minute drive from the hotel, this had the best Indian food i have ever had, and we ended up eating there 3 times in 2 days.
The staff at the hotel were helpful in recommending places to eat and visit and also helped organise Laundry at cost value - which was a great help.
I would highly recommend staying here.
