Tired and a bit disheveled. The room was small and lacked some basic amenities. The town, and particularly the caves, were great to see, but it was not a treat to come back to the hotel. Breakfast had little we could eat.

We have recently hosted a private birthday event at Level 5 in Regalodge Hotel. I would like to give compliments to the chef & team for churning out amazing food on the buffet, our guest were all very happy with each item on the buffet, especially the lamb stew, the premium satay sticks, nasi lemak with chicken rendang , I would like to personally thank Intan & her team for doing a good job in setting up the decorations & function room. Compliments to Intan, she is very professional and very passionate in making sure her client’s needs are met, she is very accommodating to our requests and also politely explain what can be done or not. As an events personnel, she is very hands on with the setup and decorations, she ensures her best efforts and I can see the genuineness in her & putting her heart in everything she does. To Regalodge Hotel’s Management, your employees are to keep! Keep up the good work!

The rooms were rather dated especially the toilet. However, it is comfortable enough for a short stay and value for money at the price they are charging which is cheaper than many other hotels in Ipoh.

The room was quite ok, but the hotel seriously needed some major upgrading as it looked so old and tired. Really want to give major good feedback on the reception front office staff and the chef (forgot this name) at the breakfast place. They were always so friendly and helpful , it really made our trip very pleasant. One thing the hotel needed to do constant maintenance is the LIFT! The lift did not have any sensor / reactor , and when a person try to walk in and out of the lift, the lift did not sense any person at all, and tried to close on us several times! The lift door hit my arm and it was Ouch!

My first stay here ... and I got lost, using Google Map, trying to find this hotel! Hahahaha! Parking is a bit limited and the view is just OK, but staff service is excellent, the breakfast was great (for me) and the room was comfortable.

I was there on the 1st Aug and out 2nd. Overall the room, reception staff and security was awesome. Kudos especially to Mr. Joel where his hospitality is always the best. Was there for breakfast but a constructive feedback especially during the RMCO period where we are all fighting for Covid. Food is perfect & tasty but only need to ensure all guest is wearing on face mask while taking their food. When I was there seeing other guest - not wearing mask, guest was chitchat and taking food. Saliva will contaminate the food and is very dangerous especially the spreading of the pandemic. Other hotels the food is served ala carte or chef served the guest. Please have a look at this seriously. Overall Regalodge is my favourite all time hotel. Thank you and stay safe!

The infrastructure is very worn out, and generally feels very shabby (especially the corridors, windows, etc. Beds definitely hurt, and wifi barely works. It's not awful and *just* not fully unpleasant, but definitely the utmost basic, devoid of any charm, and not very clean nor maintained at al. Staff is very nice, but that's not enough...There are much better options in a similar price range.

Room: Was very spacious, we book a suite with Queen Bed. Plenty of windows. All the facilities in the room and bathroom are basically functioning even though it is an old hotel. Aircond is good. Just need more lights to brighten the area. Parking: limited parking but we manage to secure 1 slot. after that, we roam around ipoh with Grab. so no need to worry about losing our parking at night. Food: Decent breakfast with local and western option. Complimentary of satay and also snack, drinks in our room. Check in: Was pleasant. we came 1 hour early and request for early check in. staff was so attentive. tq for let us check in early. the weather was so hot that day.

We stayed in regal suite - the room is spacious and my son roam around. The room too dark, too many lights to switch on. The sofa bed (from mgmt pics) please change it already, it’s squeaking and has a deep dent already. The bathroom bidet is leaking! We have a toddler, and very slip-prone. And lastly, we paid a parking fine to the government because we are told to park outside by your guards as your parking space is full but you should have told us to how to properly proceed. We are first-time stupid tourist, you should have informed us when we parked outside. Pros - water, free drinks and snack we dont like, locks, just nice noise from surrounding, room service.

This would be third time staying in this hotel. The first 2 breakfast was not included with the room. Checking in is easy and not time limited to after 2pm. However, the room wasn't ready, front desk staff is friendly and willing to do the registration for the check in process. Need to wait for the rooms to be ready before able to hand the keys. Whilst waiting, just drive out somewhere to get some things done. Came back and the room is ready. This time got into the colour theme rooms. Room is clean, and the wifi is okay. This time breakfast was included. In Ipoh there are plenty of choices to go for meals, be it breakfast, lunch, or dinner. Since room is included with breakfast, just eat a little bit and then go out. Surprisingly the buffet breakfast is really good although the spread is not big. Maybe third time lucky and very satisfying with the stay. Meals for lunch and dinner too is good although the menu choices are limited. When the hotel is fully occupied, parking can be a challenge, but the security staff is willing to find and accommodate a parking space.
