At first, I was scared because the hotel from outside looks as if it was closed for a decade. It was really scary. BUT I did enjoy my three-day stay there because the people working there took the extra mile to take care of me. By the way, Hi, Christi!:) She made my stay in that hotel super awesome!:)

This was my second stay. From the outside, you might think twice to check in. The room quite nice with basic amenities. Have two single or one king size bed depends on your needs. There is a bathtub but no carpet (only tiles floor). Still using a CRT TV with FTA channel (no Astro or Vision 4 channel). Using a split type air-conditioners but enough to cool the room until 22 deg celcius. I stay at room 315 with a good view to the swimming pool & the sea. One disappointment was, we cannot use the swimming pool because its under maintenance the day that we stayed.

From the outside, it looks like a run-down building that needs a new coat of paint. Inside the lobby, only bare minimal lights, as cost saving measure. However, the reception person is very professional, polite and well-informed. Registration is a breeze. We took 2 rooms, requesting near to each other. Surprisingly, we got connecting rooms , which is a plus point. Rooms inside are from the 80s furniture (which my wife recalled her days with KL Hilton). Generally, the rooms are clean, well-kept with working aircond. Room toilets are clean as well, the same goes to the Pool. Breakfast is a la carte. Those with coupons, can choose the type; local or western. Food is surprisingly good. Overall, it For the price that I am paying, I have no complaint. Recommended for budget hotel in Lumut.

We chose this hotel for one night as it was near the pier and bus station travelling to Pangkor island. From the ouside it kooks like ut has been closed for about 5 years. It needs a paint job urgently. We ventured inside the reception was ok and the staff friendly. The walk to the room was an eye-opener.W padded the pool which wad full of fully clothed locals guests and residents and the water green/brown.The hotel has rooms for guests and local families also live in them and of course use the pool. The room was clean and really big .It haf a fridge, kettle and ancient tv with no remote.Breakfast was ok a choice of European or Malaysian. The staff and all the people guests and local residents were all very friendly but i think Lumut must have better options.

Driving up to this building, the heart sinks. It looks terribly run down. I wasn't even sure at first where the reception was, as the front has almost an abandoned look about it. Once I got inside thing began to improve. The room was a good size, with a nice bay window looking out over lots of trees (but not the water, unfortunately). I also cannot fault the cleanliness. This place certainly needs a paint and some new furniture and appliances. The furniture is old and bears the marks of decades of careless visitors. The power button on the twenty year old TV (I remember that model being advertised when I bought my first TV) had broken off and apparently I was expected to insert a long thin object to switch it on and off. The remote control was nowhere to be seen. The blankets were old, pilled and had a slightly musty smell. The bed was a bit saggy and lumpy. But as I said, it was clean, and it was in a pleasant environment. It was also close to the ferry terminal and retail/food zone.

The rooms (Deluxe) are big enough. The pool is clean. Parking is ample. Food is good enough. View of the sea is quite limited. The building is ugly. Close enough to dining area and Lumut town. The staffs are friendly.

Blue Bay Resort Lumut is in a good location close to where the ferry departs for Pangkor Island and the bus terminal. There doesn't appear to be too much to see in Lumut as it's a port town and therefore people seem to be passing through, which is what we were doing, so we only stayed one night. There is good street food nearby & tourist souvenir shops within about 5-10min walk from the hotel. The pool was unfortunately green so couldn't swim but if it was clean then it's in the sun all day long. The staff were friendly and helpful, we had booked 2 rooms and they were both clean, tv basic and the in-room wifi was good. Breakfast was nice but also basic. It was relatively cheap (even though it was the middle of Malaysian school hold). The hotel could also do with a paint as it appeared neglected.

This is quite an old hotel. The management never thought of re-decorating or even refurbish the hotel according to the year we're living. Nevertheless, The hotel is really next to the sea and easy to find. The staff were so-so and not that nice. They couldn't check me in at first because i book thru agoda and there was no internet at all at the hotel. luckily my internet connection was fast, so i have to open the net thru my phone. what a place huh! imagine if i didn't have any internet connection?? and the time was 11pm. Apart from that drama, we went to our room. To our shock, the hotel is actually an apartment where daily people live and went to their daily lives. It smell curry and children were shouting in some part of the hotel. It didn't stated in their webpage or in any review that we have to pass other people house in order to get to our room. The room was clean, so was the toilet. The bed was particularly OK and i got no complaint except maybe for the broken aircond where you can't really control the temperature so it was so cold at early morning of the day. But given that the price is RM95 only, so u expect to get something like that. Then there was the bear fast. It was the most horrendous part of our stay. The breakfast was bad and there was nothing to choose. No wonder they included bfast in their room price. After bfast, we decided to check out and never come there again.

Quite a good place for relaxing. Far away from noisy environment. The breakfast quite limited since they only serve 3,4 types of dishes. The basement parking having some leaking problems maybe its under the swimming pool.
