Our destination was Pangkor Island and we arrived in the late afternoon from Cameron Highland. So, decided to find a hotel near the jetty for a night stay before taking the ferry to Pangkor Island. In term of location and proximity, this hotel is within 5 mins walking distance to the Lumut Jetty. We spent the rest of our afternoon walking around this town of Lumut shopping and had our seafood dinner at one of the restaurants at the center of the town. I also visited a Chinese temple opposite the jetty and a mosque beside the bus terminus. I love the seaview scenery here and the promenade was a relaxed and windy place to wander in the evening and at night. The design of the Lumut jetty appeared modern and unique. We stayed at a 2 quadruple bed room and two double bed rooms…
even with an ongoing event at the waterfront, noise was not heard inside our room.. a new hotel and good for an overnight stay or maybe even for the whole weekend.. with it's proximity to the jetty, it is advisable for those going to pangkor island..
Well, this budget hotel is located facing sea views. It is barely a few months old and indeed, it is still new and very clean. I have booked a family room with 2 queen beds in just RM178.. very reasonable price.. The receptionist was very polite and checking in was smooth. Of course, no lift.. just use stairs. The room was quite spacey, nice warm color... of course everything is new. The bathroom was clean and quite a strong water pressure. The beds were comfy and clean. Air cond is good. The sea view was nice at night and morning... could watch boats passing by too. Opposite the hotel has pubs and very convenient to have 1 or 2 beers.. I had it that night - a Guinness stout and Paulaner beer. You may asked more towels and hair dryer as not provided in the room. One uncommon…
Within walking distance to the sea side, night market, boutique massage and pub! Less than 30 mins drive to Setiawan, where all the good food can be found! Car park right in front of the hotel. Very very clean hotel, very good bed and blanket quality and very value for money :) Thanks for the splendid stay!
Tucked in a quiet town in Lumut, near to the ferru, overlooking the jetty, i find myself rather fall in love with this place. Get a room with the sea view, with the windmill, it's a nice soothing feel u have. This budget hotel provides better than what they should have- bed is comfortable with a good and most importantly clean comforter, new and fresh. Highly recommend, especially for travellers to Pangkor to stay a night with before hopping on to the feri for the next day's adventure.
New place, 6months since Jan 2014.. Great location! Near to Lumut jetty (5min walk), near to dining places (local malay, chinese and other options), and near to many other shops (for souvenirs and marine products, must buy 'Satay Ikan'. ) Make a day trip to Pangkor island. Hotel is modern looking. Love the reception colour and wall fittings, must have been a young designers touch. Even the number 05-6833888, typical. Into the room, first surprise was the bed. For a budget place, surely didn't expect to see duvet used. Classy! Comfy pillows and mattress. All other necessity are there; tv, aircon, hot shower, wifi, work table, towels and soap dispenser. They even had a cold/hot drinking water unit on every floor. Important thing, room was clean and were locked with keycard access.…
