Fairly new establishment so things are clean and functional. However, if you want a good night's sleep, this is not the place to stay. The construction of the place is so badly done using inappropriate materials that the whole place sounds like a cave. Every sound is amplified, from the adjacent rooms and the corridors. Got woken up at 2am by people stomping up the stairs, slamming into their room, taking a shower, watching TV, conversing and singing. All the while, there is this incessant beeping from the alarm of a door ajar somewhere in the "cave". Thank god for earplugs! Also, there is a mamak stall next door that has a projector TV showing footie and playing karaoke music until way past midnight. Even with a room towards the back, we could hear everything loud and clear. Pity the occupants of the rooms right in front. If you have paid through booking portals, make sure you inform the desk clerk. My boyfriend checked us in and did not know that payment had already been made. The clerk asked for payment which he gave. Luckily I mentioned so he had to go down and ask for the money back!

First, I'm going to say the bad new, no lift for 3 floor's hotel. Better stay lower floor, difficult for senior citizens. I went with family, the room is big, have an extra shower room. Also available for I extra bed, so we have 6 people can stay in a big room(2king bed 1 extra bed). Amenities have to buy at the counter, or can find the shop at ground floor, such as 7 Eleven and others. The room is cheaper than my first night in xxxxxxton hotel. So it is worth to stay. It's clean, and have filter drinking water dispenser there. So is good for backparker, friend and couples.

Nice & big room. Clean hotel. Easy to get food. Mamak shop just nearby. The price is worth stay. Requested the first floor so that you don't have to climb more steps up. Easy to get to Lumut Jetty. Stay there for 1 night on Jan 30, 2016.

I am going to Lumut with my couple. We are going to beach, Teluk Batik. So, we are staying at Star Bay Hotel. This hotel is comfortable, affordable and is good enough for our trip. Since we just stay one night and most of the time are going outside like Lumut Jetty for night view. O ya, it just take 10 minutes to reach Lumut Jetty. This hotel is near to all places we want to visit.
