Location of the hotel is good The courtyard nice with a good vibe Kitchen can be use for preparing its own food Rooms expensive regarding the service proposed. Better value in other hotel in town. Manager not reliable in terms of booking (taxi, etc)

Don't expect aircon, a pool and 5 star service. If that is what you want, go elsewhere. That said, the Nazri camp doesn't want 5 star travelers, they opt for low budget travelers and cater for that group. Thus, if you are a backpacker on a tight budget, this is your place. There's no aircon but you don't miss it,... More

Now I never write bad reviews but I am so shocked at the poor customer service, the lack of information and the whole place in general. Me and my friend are travelling Malaysia for 10 days and we were told by someone in Kuala Lumpur that the Nazri Nipah Camp was a great place to stay, I could not disagree... More

I stayed for two nights in the standard chalet. They gave me a discount on the room rate, so if possible, try to contact the management itself or just go there without pre-booking (not in high season). You will get better rates than booking via an agency. The room was ok, average on the island I guess. Bathroom was a... More

We stayed there for one night, no AC, bathroom was tiny, room was a little smelly, could hear the people next door very clearly. But in the budget it was fine. The hotel next door has really nice food and a breakfast buffet! Near the beach as well.

We stayed 6 nights here, and it was the best place we have stayed on our travels so far.. We stayed in a small hut with a fan! It was 40RM when we booked directly at the hostel, but we booked 3 nights online which cost more, so my advise would be to book only a 1/2 nights to ensure... More

This is the first my family stay in camp like this. Best experience! This place is suitable for travelers, backpackers. Not so fancy, but have all the things that is needed. You can even cook in here. Feel like home. Wifi is also available. You can walk to the beach and get some local foods there.

I was really underwhelmed by the establishment even when you take the price point in account- it is not THAT cheap once you consider that NOTHING other than a creaky bed to crash on is inclusive in the price. Room – Checked in after mid day & the room was like a furnace with a musty smell. Be aware that... More

This is backbacker oriented place. Good value rooms with nice garden. No A/C but nights here are cool and fan is enough. Good location near the best beaches but away from the main street. The staff was friendly but not always fluent in English. At times they managed to disappear... Wifi signal was weak and didn't work in our room.... More

I can not understand how this place has positive reviews. It was filthy, with overflowing trash bins and stray dogs lounging about. A pervasive odour of fish in the common area and air con rooms. Fan rooms were tiny, dirty, and reeked of mildew. Awful, just awful. Way too much money for a room with bucket flush toilet and a... More

“If planning a little ahead, I can recommend to choose one of the bigger chalets as they have own bathroom. The price difference is quite small, so try.. otherwise, if travelling 1-2 persons, chose the smaller chalet instead of the dorm. Then you can lock up your chalet with all your belonging inside :)”
