We have just completed a 6 night stay at this lovely hotel and can thoroughly recommend it. We were allocated room 62 which was everything we wanted, very spacious with a big bed and a strong warm shower. It also had a front facing balcony with a sea view. A big than you to the cleaner who serviced our room very well, it was always immaculately clean and smelled very nice. The breakfast choice was just right, a egg station was available for choice of eggs, there was also a noodle station and my favourite...Roti Canai. The staff in the dining room were quick to clear tables and all the food tasted nice, so thank you to the chefs and the staff. The reception staff were always available and very pleasant, it was also good to have a permanent security guard at the front of the hotel, he was always smiling and helpful, a very nice man. Thank you for your assistance with our luggage and helping us park our motor cycle etc. The hotel also has a very nice swimming pool and loungers, with towels available. So really it ticks all the boxes for a great stay and the nightly price rates are very reasonable. I can highly recommend this hotel. …
This is a 3-star hotel, probably the best in Pangkor after the 5-star Pangkor Laut Resort Pros ; - new , opened 3 years ago the condition of the facility is very good - great location, right at the main beach area of Pasir Bogak town - reasonable rates - great location, located right next to Pasir Bogal beach (within 50 m) - rooms are well maintained, spacious and has good amenities - strong wifi signal - friendly staff (especially the manager Mr Wong - a special thanks to you ! ) - great for kids as the pool is mainly meant for them - good breakfast spread (with surprisingly good nasi lemak and rendang) Cons ; - Around 600 m away from the Pasir Bogak town so if you have young kids you need to walk for your meals and this can be a bit inconvenient during the hot weather - When I was around the wifi was unstable (probably due to telecom company rather than the hotel). But this was promptly addressed by the staff - cleaning staff were new and not professionally trained though they were very helpful…
Unfortunately during my vacation i lost my handbag near to hotel entrance. The receptionist(ms kugianeswari) and gardener(mr azrul) help me a lot until i get back the handbag..thank you a lot. Really appreciate
The rooms we stayed in were clean and new. The grounds, while so near the beach, were surprisingly sand-free and clean. There are pipes outside the rooms as well as outside the lobby for you to rinse off (please be considerate and do so). The pool does have sand in it and has a few tiles missing but it's hardly noticeable. Special shout out to (*) who single handedly handled the service of the restaurant. We couldn't be more satisfied with the food or the service. Seriously, kudos (*) for going above and beyond. The hotel faces the main road but you don't get much traffic, especially at night. The beach is just across the road, easy access. Location is quite near the Jetty (by car) and communications with the staff needs improvement but overall would return again.
It‘s a good, clean and convenient hotel. Though not on the beach, but it was close enough to get to the beach...a 2 minute walk across. Our room was nice and clean. Had a good view of the sea and garden. Bathroom was small but clean. Convenient location as it was walking distance to most shops and restaurants. Away from the town yet close enough to get to...walking takes about 30 mins or grab a taxi in for about RM15. We didn’t use the pool as we didn’t find it clean. A family was in the pool fully clothed and washing their hair with the hand wash from the sink near by. Many people got into the pool fully clothe / not proper swim attire. So we skipped the pool. Breakfast was alright. Got better from Thursday onwards. Possibly because it was the weekend coming. Overall it was a good stay. Will we return - YES, but not for the pool.…
This hotel is well located with friendly staff. The hotel provides comfortable beds including extra wide single beds. Facilities include a safe, refrigerator, wifi, TV, Air Conditioning and tea/coffee making facilities. I recommend this hotel for short or longer stays.
Modern, fresh and stylish hotel. The building and the surrounding yard and pool were very well looked after. Great location, 2 mins to Pasir Bogak beach. Our room was good size, beds were comfortable, aircon worked well and the room was superclean. Breakfast was tasty with enough options for a good start of the day. Delicious coffee. The staff was really friendly and looked after us so well. We felt very special. We had such relaxing time in Pangkor Island, a perfect getaway. AVI Pangkor Beach made our holiday an extra special one.
This hotel is brand new (allegedly open only around a week, you can't miss it - it's a bright white building along the road) and I'm sure there are bound to be some teething problems; staff for example seemed very confused about the check-in process (couldn't find my nationality easily, didn't want the booking coupon but then called up to the room to ask for it later on, wanted 100RM cash deposit but wouldn't take a credit card so we had to go without 100RM cash during the stay, etc.). Similarly, on check-out, even though the hotel was very empty (we saw only 2 other guest groups there), inquiries for late check-out was met with a straight no - not even an option to pay extra to stay, or any sense of flexibility. The property itself is pleasant; although I don't know why they installed such a small pool in the back garden (backing onto a water plant), and while it looks like they have a room for a pool bar behind a shutter, it wasn't open during our visit. My bigger issue though was that our "cabin", 20, was already showing quite some wear and tear for such a new property - the bathroom fan was exceptionally loud, only one toilet roll left in the room (ran out over night), lots of paint scratches where the door lock is, a different colour of paint on one part of the balcony ledge where the painters must have repainted - simple things that you wouldn't normally find in a brand new property. In addition, the windows are very thin and you can hear clearly any loud vehicle from the road outside at night. Otherwise the room had reasonable amenities; good aircon, toiletries, and two bottles of water provided. Breakfast was also provided, and this was also pretty plain and straight-forward; decent, but nothing amazing. There were two options; nasi lemak or a 'Western' breakfast set. Both were quite good, and the chef was willing to cook extra hash browns to his credit. Although the butter and jams left out in the open meant they were incredibly warm and unappetising, and seemed to be attracting a few flies. Maybe they should put a bowl of ice underneath them. In conclusion - I'd probably stay here again in the area as it is one of the newer hotels, and has only just opened; the staff seemed to be doing their best to meet guest expectations (driving to the port for us, etc.) and they were personally very friendly and talkative, but very inflexible on other things like a higher room floor, late check-out - but maybe this is just the result of their recent training. I really hope the hotel focuses on the maintenance and upkeep of their brand new rooms though, as that seemed the most likely to become let-down over time.…
