My Husband and I have been satying here for the past few weeks, from 1st Aug til 29th Aug. We have had a relaxing & rejuvenated stay here at Kimberley Hotel. We have nothing but praise for the staff here, from Reception,(Dhurga, Selvie & others) Auction Room Restaurant staff: ( Bakir, Jamal, Sashi & others including Chefs &Training staff,) house staff, (Soumon & Shokalt & others) cleaning staff & security (Dev & Pushka) They have all been so helpful & well mannered. We have enjoyed our holiday here immensely. A BIG thankyou to everyone here. In my unbiased opinion Kimberly Hotel ranks at the top end of all hotels around Georgetown, Penang. We have been visiting Penang every year from Australia in late to early August for the past five years. Over this period we have stayed in different hotels. Without a doubt it’s my favorite. As such, it is worthy of commendation to any person looking to have either a short or long stay. Apart from having a well earned rest; unwinding from the hustle and bustle of city life, my wife and I had a relaxing and enjoyable time It is located close to Komtar shopping center, three minutes walking distance. We are a couple from Canada checked in on August 22 for 3 nights. There were no hand/face towels, no tooth brushes, no shower caps, no bedroom slippers and no bottle water in rooms contrary to the descriptions when we were booking our rooms. Front Desk associates do not smile nor respond to our questions politely; like they were getting out of bed from the wrong side!

Nice hotel and it’s near the 4 shopping malls- Komtar etc! At the back of the lane, there are street food in the evening. The staff are really friendly except that the they don’t have the necessities (toothbrush, iron & hair dryer) in the room unless it’s requested. It will be nice to leave the hair dryer and toothbrush in the room without us requesting for it.

Stayed at this Hotel from 8th of August for a couple of nights. This Hotel is located in the Penang UNESCO Heritage side, reflecting the beautiful Asian exotic culture. Although the room was small, but it was very clean and comfortable. Clean sheets and towels were provided everyday. The Hotel's mission is to provide a clean and green environment. Housekeeping Staff Mr Shonkot and his team maintained my Room 436 very well everyday. Thank you! I would like to say a big 'thank you' to Umai and her team at the Front Desk for their efficiency and wonderful hospitality when meeting the guests. Stay in Queen bed room level 3, room is small but good enough to stay, quiet too. Free drinking water, staff include security staff are friendly and helpful. Walking distance to attraction places, shopping mall, morning market, plenty restaurant around the area. The only problem is the wifi, very weak, can't even watch YouTube, backapack hostel I've stayed; their WiFi is way more better

Came with a tour group and stayed at this hotel over the weekend . Room and bathroom is small but is not an issue to us as we are out most of the time only to come back to bath and sleep. Place is quiet and bed very comfortable to sleep in. Front desk, dining and security staff friendly and helpful. This is a nice place to stay as is located within walking distance of food, entertainment, shopping and tourist area.

Simple basic room. I booked the standard queen which was a good size for 1 person but can be cramped if sharing the room with another person. The bed sheets looked dirty with stains. Bring own toiletries, toothpaste and toothbrush for a more comfortable stay. There's no bottled water in the room but there is a 24 hour mini mart less than 10 mins away on Kimberly street. There was a bit of back and forth over late checkout but the manager was able to give late checkout despite high occupancy rate. Very good location right smack in the middle of the malls and Kimberly street where there are quite a few good tasty food options.
