Fresh bread straight from oven like the Low-GI and Rye Loaf. Whelmed by our Chef G, the cafe offers menu like no other. To the extent of bringing coffee into our mainstay menu with dishes as bold & daring as the Coffee Pasta and Espresso Chicken to name the few. Staging some of Malaysia's upcoming talents, we have a followers of singer & song writer. Acoustic performance is among the nightly acts hosted at our live floor. Some go on to be endorsed musicians and also recording artist!

The room was very pleasant, it was cozy and clean. The staff has always been friendly, patient and helpful, which impressed me the most. Breakfast was excellent and incredibly varied. My friends and I had a good stay in Kim Haus Loft as the staff service was attentive and responsive. I highly recommend this property.

Love the vibe at Kim Haus so much !! The environment there is so creative and antique, you can see lots of wooden-designed stuffs and amazing paintings there. I highly recommend that people should sleep over at there as you can enjoy yourself in the performance of the bands there, drink some alcohols and just chilled........ The rooms of Kim Haus are just so right and warm.......

Definitely warned out hotel. The pictures are definitely taken years ago and hotel doesn’t look like it now. Rusty metal decorations in the corridors, no soundproof in the room as advertised, you can hear everything your neighbours are speaking, the traffic noise is unbearable. The damp smell in the room, you can feel the springs in the mattress. Water pressure non excitant. The original room did not have a window which is not specified when booking, had to pay upgrade for the studio to be able to even brief in the room. Advertised as having live music each evening which does not exist, the same as the bar area is closed. Definitely overpriced for what it is. Be careful when booking it as there are many other options which looks way better value for money. Would not book again!!! UPDATE: left the hotel after the first night as we could not sleep there and had our backs and necks hurting from very pour mattress and no window isolation at all. Asked for the refund which we paid for 3 nights upgrade and city

I give this hotel a rating of 3 because it lack of cleanliness and maintenance. It abit run down and it is like a ghost hotel where u rately see the staff around. Haha.. Toilet was dirty and im notbsure if the bedsheet was properly changed / wash? Breakfast served after 9am (depend on the convenience of the staff see what time they wake up).. But the room price is cheap for a boutique hotel and the location is strategic, near to many eatery shops, hawker stalls and cafes. The hotel did not provide parking, u just need to park at the road side or open parking nearby. Anyway, my first and the last to stay here. Lol..

This property was in a more than excellent location. We purchased for internet access so that we could always connect to the map, which is useful for getting to any locations or streets you desire. The hotel is conveniently positioned on Campbell Street, just a short distance from Julia/Lebuh Cula, where you may enjoy a variety of nighttime cuisine on the street as well as the nice street arts. It only the Penang Hills and Kek Lok Si require a bus or taxi from this hotel, but even so, it was still a good decision to take a taxi there since it only cost us about 15-20RM. One weak point is internet signal is too weak from the 2nd floor up thought only the reception area that it works.

I absolutely enjoyed my stay here because the location of the hotel is convenient, the bed is very comfy, the owner even offered 10% discount on my stay because I’m a return customer, overall a truly amazing experience and I will definitely go back again!

My gf & I stayed here for 4 nights during our stay in penang. The location is very good, 5/10 minute walk to the lively areas of Georgetown. The room was small and was tight for space for 2 people and bags. No window and bed is a thin mattress on wooden slab - ok for a couple nights but not ideal for 4+ nights. Plenty of social space across the floors and downstairs cafe and bagel shop is nice. Had the food from the cafe once and was very average, you would be better walking 5/10 minutes to a street vendor or restaurant. Nice decor around the hotel and the museum side of it is cool. Would stay again but only for a couple nights.

Located at Georgetown, easy access to the heritage area and hawker foods is just close by. The room clean & cozy despite small, it’s value for the rate I paid with the facilities & amenities provided. Staff was very nice and helpful, they recommended some place to go in Georgetown.
