Great location short walk to lots of places. Umbrellas on hand. Also as we had a ticket booked for 9 pm they allowed us a late checkout of 7 pm. Counter not 24 hours. But they give phone number so if you need can call at any time. Very helpful staff!!

This is my 3rd time to stay in this heritage house. Although the walls are beginning to fade, the warm hospitality are getting better and better. Joey is a friendly and helpful lady who always makes the house full of joy. The bedroom and toilet are very clean and tidy. I appreciate the kind welcome throughout my visit and she made my trip very memorable. I feel like going home when I stay in here!

The property is a heritage house that has been restored tastefully. Timber floor to upper levels, a large front desk & sitting area with help yourself tea/coffee facilities. The Staff are amazing. Friendly & helpful. It was explained to us that there was some noise transfer from the upper timber floors & flaking paint evident in some areas but you have to remember the age of the building. It is a character heritage house. This did not effect the comfort of our stay at D’Nice.

This is supposedly a heritage house. However, the room was not well maintained. There are leaking ceilings as seen in the picture. There are many weird restrictions such as switching off the water heater after use etc.. The room is clean but there is no cups in the room. you have to get the cups at the lobby. Not value for money. If you really want a true heritage stay, there are plenty elsewhere.

We stayed for 3 nights. The house is located in the old town, There are plenty of food options in the surrounding area. Beware that this is a guest house and not a hotel. When we complained that the room was not cleaned and was surprised when we came back in the afternoon finding the room in the same condition when we left in the morning, we were told because this is a guest house and not a hotel, no daily housekeeping unless requested, bizarre, as we stayed in many guest houses in many countries and never have that experience. Communication is a problem, very long response with excuse of low battery or no internet connection. Waited for very long when we come to the guest house at 11 a.m. to leave our bags if we can't check in yet as there are no one in the reception, called with no answer and left WA messages was not replied until about 45 minutes later. On another occasion when my husband needs a card key to open the room door as we were given only 1, he called and waited for 1.5 hours for the reception to come.

Very happy that we selected this charming heritage house. Great value in excellent location for walking around in Georgetown or for connecting with buses for outlying temples and such. Helpful people with good suggestions for food and sites. We had the biggest room (204? I think) for just a bit more and it was worth it. We had plenty of room to do yoga in the room. High ceilings give feeling of more space, too. Some noise from the street--mostly motorcycles until about 10 p.m. All the drinking water you want ( we refill bottles) and hot water & ice water available 24/7 for tea or coffee. No breakfast provided but you can use the refrigerator and also the toaster so we had toast and jam with tea every morning before heading out to explore. Charming and we hope to go back.

We had a great stay at D'Nice. The hotel was very quiet when we were there so we felt very relaxed. While the front desk was not always manned (due to illness-hope she is okay now) all of our needs were met. The rooms are nice and generally quite clean. Hotel is in a nice older part of town. Parking can be difficult but not due to any error on the hotel's part, reception was helpful in pointing out where we could park. Breakfast is basic but sufficient. The washer and dryer were very convenient. Thank you for a great stay.

We stayed at this hotel for three nights. The hotel was clean with a nice ambiance, however the surrounding area was pretty ran down, even tough a good spot to start discovering Georgetown. The "breakfast" should not be called breakfast as it was a dry toast and a cracker. We would recommend having breakfast elsewhere.

I stayed here quite reluctantly as most places were sold out but I was pleasantly surprised on arrival. The service at the front desk was great. The room was spacious and very clean. The only pitfall was the windows are not double glazed so you can hear everything that is going on in the busy residential street below, not great if you are a light sleeper or go to bed early to rise early. Would I stay here again? If my choice was as limited as it was this time then yes.
