Was a last minute booking and when we arrived the Receptionist ( Chinese ) was not so helpful and she has no hospitality attitude at all, The room smells, The Light was not working the bed was hard the A/Cond goes hey wire by itself, The up-keeping of the place interior was not that good need a small refurbishing. Only one thing made my stay ok which was the overnight receptionist ( Indian Gal ) was very helpful as she even pass me the mosquito spray as I went down complaining about mosquito in room. Will not use this hotel near the future unless desperate.

I stayed at Waterfall Hotel, Penang recently with my parents for a night. We were there for pilgrimage trip hence we decided to stay a hotel near to temples and this was a perfect place. The room is spacious, comfy and clean. It has two double beds as we stayed in a Superior Family Room. The room consists of all the basic facilities such as Hot Shower, Toiletries, Towels, Hairdryer, Fridge and Electric Kettle. Near by there is an Indian Restaurant which offer both Vegetarian and Non Vegetarian Food. There are also other cafes. Overall, it was good.

Had the privilege of staying at this hotel the second time. May last visit was a year ago and the room was run down then. Expected the same but I was wrong. The rooms have been upgraded and certainly worth the stay. The hotel being close to the Waterfalls Murugan Temple ( Hindu GOD) was certainly a plus. It has a guarded carpark and ensures the safety of your vehicle. The team are friendly and accommodate to your queries. Syabas.

The hotel is the closest stay I could find to the Thai Royal Consulate. If your just shopping price, I thought this was a good value. Hot shower, speedy WiFi, clean, good electric sockets, blow dryer, coffee maker but no coffee. My room had no windows, a bit claustrophobic feeling, but still got a good rest. Breakfast at 9:30 boo, but walking distance is a restaurant with some eatables , local style foods. GRAB is very prevalent in the area, with a 2-5 min wait time. Georgetown is the city life of the island, fantastic restaurants, Indian town, china town, and upside down museum. 10 RM GRAB, one way.

This hotel is a joke. If you want a shower with hot water, forget it because the shower doesn't even have it. Internet is absolutely atrocious you cannot even connect to it and if you do manage to somehow connect then it instantly kicks you straight back off. You ask the staff to come and fix and then they come to the room and then it magically works for 5 minutes. The moment they leave it goes straight back off again. You then ask them again and they arrogantly tell you it's working. If you are considering staying this hotel - seriously don't as you'll be very disappointed.

This hotel was newly renovated, inside the room is clean and good design. Staffs are friendly and helpful. Even the water heater hove some pipe leaking problem and water pressure unstable, but i think it just minor problem and acceptable for a budget hotel. I book it very advance and get a worthy rate. Location ok where near to the tourist spot, they provide safe guarded parking lot and a Grab pick up point. Even they do not provide breakfast but self service hot drink is free at lobby in the morning. A Cafe attached jut next to the hotel and a hawker center just walking distance at the end of the road. There is a plus that i have to mention is the USB charging port provided at the bedside desk, this is rarely found for a budget hotel.

This place is convenient to the Adventist hospital being only a 10 min walk. It is clean and has recent renovations. Price is quite reasonable. Nearby selection of restaurants, from food stall to higher end. Have stayed here a few times and will not hesitate to do so again

During weekend the charges is close to RM300. It’s very close to the Main Street and the noise from the traffic is clearly heard. There’s also an Indian temple nearby which will have noises when they’re praying. During my stay there’s an underwear left over by the last tenant (I guess) near the curtain and there’s also a corpse of cockroach near the waste bin in the bathroom. Not worth the price honestly.

I don’t get why there are some good reviews about this place. Yes, the staff are very nice, helpful etc., however the hotel is run down, tired, and overall very disappointing. It’s two miles plus to gurney drive, someone said they can walk it in 15 minutes. Jack Reacher?? My room is, because I am here now, as I write, dark, shabby and just plain uncomfortable. I changed rooms as the air con was ineffective, and the staff were great in helping. Why don’t owners just maintain their buildings for God’s sake?
