Cons 1) Very noisy at night, can hear motorcycles passing by all the time 2) room service just barged in the room in the morning while we are still in the room, makes us feel very uneasy 3) parking is troublesome, make sure you come down early to get your car if you’re in a rush because other cars may block you Pros 1) location 2) price

Le Embassy building is located in downtown Georgetown. The newly renovated hotel doesn't show its 63 years . From freshly re-renovated rooms to the unique mini 2 -floors lift to the chic cafe cum restaurant, Le Embassy Hotel certainly qualify as a good hotel with attractive room rates PRO Super friendly staff from reception to cafe. Hats to Ms Susan for her superb service Beautifully re-renovated rooms Very clean room and toilet Toiletries provided from toothbrush to soap to imported shower gel to disposable slippers Cosy beds and pillows (yes, 2 for each guest by default!) Simple yet delicious breakfast Awesome open concept (unique) lift - just very slow as it would need 30 sec to travel from Gnd to 2nd floor Walking distance to eateries such as Teochew Chendol and Roti Bakar Hutton Lane (2 of my fav) CON Very very limited parking bays Room though cosy needs more simple furnishing such as chairs and side table

Nice place to come if you don’t mind of noise from vehicle outside. You should ask what is your breakfast and upgrade (if any) There’s a music night on Friday night from 9:00PM. There’s empty glass bottle to take water from a hot and cold machine installed for each floor. I love their maternities especially the shampoo cum shower, good smell and it’s not make dry skin but hair is smooth.

The hotel was on Jln Burma walkable from Komtar and Jln Penang area! Shortcut thru the back and can reach Famous Teochew Chendol and Chowrasta Market. I like the Continental Free Breakfast! My room was double decker beds 🛌 no windows but still can hear traffic noise clearly! They have the potential to do well maybe changed to Double glazed windows! The 2in 1 Body wash from France 🇫🇷 was superb

The good: Free breakfast that was light & easy to kickstart the day, clean rooms & nice functional bathroom. Parking was scarce at this area but the limited free parking provided was sufficient during my off-peak stay. There was a lift even for a 2 storey building which was convenient. Great tv channels but not sports. The hotel is located closed to many interesting places. The bad: the card was wrongly configured upon check in and was not able to enter the room in my first attempt. Had to get it re-configured. Parking space provided is limited but functional, however may need to cooperate with other guests if your car is blocking others. Breakfast can be improved slightly. The bar next door has a great happy hour but was misinformed that there would be live band performing on wed,fri & sat nights. Went on a sat night but was disappointed, no live band. Requested for a hairdryer but wasn't sent to the room on first night. Tried again the next day, and finally got it. Light sleepers may find it hard to sleep at night and to an extend a little annoying for loud motorcycles and cars outside. The windows sealed shut but the sound from the street is still extremely loud. Not to forget, i ordered a dinner set on one of the night and when it came to dessert, the chocolate indulgence was moldy. They apologised and replaced it with a nice mango pudding. Stayed 2 nights and was tired, hence had a peaceful sleep. It was annoyingly noisy at night due to the traffic. I'd give this hotel 3.5 star for its potential to improve their shortcomings.
