Booked for a night stay using promo rate & get a good deal using their website. Upon check in was greeted by friendly & helpful ladies. I was amazed that the hotel took precaution with COV19 issue by providng hand sanitiser for guest to use it. Room was clean & neat. Variety of food choice nearby the hotel & it's a walking distance. Superb hospitality! The accommodation provided me with a safe and comfortable environment throughout my 5D4N trip to Georgetown, Penang. Room and common area well maintained, though I suggest that lift buttons can be replaced as the floor numbers have worn off, making it a little difficult to identify the numbers. Would say that MYR316 for 4 nights is a pretty fair deal, as hotel is strategically located and easily accessible (the tall standalone building also makes it easy to identify if you're using the footbridge).
Would also like to extend my appreciation and kudos to the team on night shift who was efficient in handling the disruption caused by guest(s) next to my room. Upon informing front desk about the disruption coming from next door, the security team was immediately sent to check on the surrounding rooms and corridor, which indirectly served as a reminder for guest(s) to observe silence past midnight.
Sincerely hope that management continues to maintain such standards and hoping to see Tune Hotel thrive!

Tune hotel is the hotel that my travel agency Teja Wisata chose when I joined Thailand-Penang, 4-7 February 2023. I stayed at the Tune Hotel on the last day, 6-7 February 2023. On 7 February 2023 at midnight I arrived near the hotel . The road in front of the hotel is jammed because it coincides with the last day of the Thaipusam celebration. The size of the hotel room is not large but comfortable to rest. With a queen size bed placed in the middle it makes the room look quite cramped but still leaves a place for worship for Muslim visitors. The manager also provides Qibla directions. The manager also responds to rooms that are not spacious by providing a place to store luggage and clothes in the corner of the room and a folding table as a place to store things. Even though it was quite noisy outside the hotel because of the Thaipusam celebration, I didn't hear the noise so I could rest in peace. What I like most about this hotel is the bathroom. The bathroom is quite spacious. There is a separator between the toilet, sink area and shower so I can put my skincare and clothes without fear of splashing water from the shower. The water heater in the bathroom works fine so I can clean myself before resting. There are several electrical socket locations so that I can charge my electronic equipment at the same time without having to use other electrical aids.

I was impressed with the location, connected all heritage site and famous places. The room that we stayed did not meet my expectation, dirty, wall cracked and rush painting made it looks terrible. The room layout was so bad especially the bath room which was not separated between wet and dry area. Air conditioner was dirty and dusty. Bed sheet did not change everyday as the card said.
The staffs were okay and friendly. They helped us at their best.
PS. Dear Manager Muhammad, I really love location and prices that your hotel offered. I hope to visit Penang again in this year soon but please do something about "Maintenance" especially my room that I stayed this time. If you please improve some small services such as "fork and spoon" for guest who loves to order Grab Food during night time, I hope it would not increase your cost too much.

Super great place to stay. This place is exactly as it appears in the pictures. The receptionist was very patient and guided us through a very quick and smooth check-in. The rooms are not too fancy but very comfortable and clean. Not to worry, it comes with an air-conditioner. But for people who can't stand the cold, they also have a ceiling fan so you kind of get the best of both worlds. The bathroom is also fully-equipped and has all the necessary toiletries. It's located in town and everything's basically at a walking distance! From shop lots and restaurants to grocery stores and even several tourist attractions. But if you're going somewhere a bit further, transportation is easy since there's a lot buses, taxis and even grab cars around that you can book on your own. If not too sure, you can even ask the hotel staff for help regarding transportation and places to visit. They're very friendly and would definitely assist you in getting the authentic local experience. For people on a budget, the price is definitely worth it especially if you're looking to stay for a while. Wouldn't mind staying here again in the future. Worth every penny.

Although it's a budget hotel, the cleanliness of the toilets are close to 4-star or 5-star hotels. The rooms are also clean and the beds are thick and nice. The hotel has a common fridge and microwave oven which is very helpful since you can takeaway the best food in Penang and eat it later. The common washing machine is also helpful if you are planning to go for hikes in Penang. Front desk staff Putasnen and Danny are great people. Overall, I would recommend this hotel to those going for holidays in Penang.

It was good deal at a very reasonable price through their official website. The reception area is large and staffed by very friendly employees Putasnen & Azlin who go out of their way to look after you. They provide clean room with a good view looking over the Komtar & Penang harbor. The room have a safe box and very strong wifi. Hotel location within walking distance to many restaurants around the hotel. Komtar and Rapid Bus Station can be walked in 20 minutes and the Historic Georgetown only a little further up.

Location is very good. Nagore Square, New World Park, Penang Road are all within walking distance. Front office service is good & friendly. Water dispenser is provided at the lobby, wifi is free. Laundry room provided for in-house guest. Room was clean & comfortable. Booked online cheaper than walk in direct to the hotel.
