My friend and myself arrived around 11.30am and we were granted an early checkin. Once we checked the room, we found the room had cigarette smell and the desk was full of leftover sugar. We called the chambermaid to have a quick clearing up on the table and to spray some air freshener. The hotel is located far bit from the town area but thanks to the good transportation in Penang, our journey to town area was not that bad. 7-Eleven is located next to the property so if you need to get something to eat or anything, it would be very easy. Overall, it was an average stay and I'm not sure if I will be back to this property in the future.

Situated directly opposite The Adventist Hospital the hotels main restaurant offers good reasonably priced meals in a very pleasant location. I had the fish and chips with garden salad. The fish was very fresh and tasty. The menu provides a good selection of both western and Asian foods.

The best of this hotel is only the location. The location is only a few step from adventist hospital while people get easy to go to the hospital for medical check up. Service was poor at the reception office. Check in was too long to wait only to get a key card and just to find out that the key card could not access to our room. We went down and up for 3 times to inform a woman incharge in the reception, she had tried to change 2 times but still failed to enter our room. And the third times she went up with master key to open our room, but we questioned her how we open the room later since we could access the room with our key card. She just replied us later I give it to you. I could not accept so I follow her to the reception. But to my surprised she just leaved a problem to her friend because she was already off duty. Ridiculously her friend just told me to repair it later. After debating for a while she finally changed the room to another room. Breakfast has improved a lot comparing to previous year when I stayed there.…

George town City hotel Penang telah berganti nama menjadi Berjaya hotel. Hotel lama yg sangat terawat dan bersih. Kamarnya bersih dan lengkap. Cukup luas dan kamar no 2213 menghadap kota Penang dan Jembatan Penang juga jelas terlihat. Nyaman dan menyenangkan dengan view yg menarik.

Hotel very near with Adventist Hospital, interior like old hotel need renovation but the best is front desk service with name Ridzuan very helpful and nice service, for breakfast need more variation menu.

Hotel is in good location if you're going to Penang for health tourism. 15-20 mins walk to Gurney Drive, open air food court to sample all the local delicacies. Room is old but clean, however bathroom's cleanliness need improvement. Bathtub curtain in my room has blood spots. Service is good, good selection of breakfast, but I prefer to go hunting for famous food outside hotel starting from breakfast time.
