The room is very cosy. The toilet is built with see thru glass. The curtain is outside. So may not be convenient to stay with friends. Towel rack is abit too high for me.

I stayed for 2nights. After checkin, the bedsheet is badly stained. But after feedback to reception, they quickly changed the bedsheet. So its fine. However, 2nd day, I requested for room makeup, they changed to 2 towels. Which is dirtier than the bedsheet ok the first day. My advise is to bring your own towel.

The hotel is along the road. I did not experience very noisy commotion outside. But the hotel provides earplug if you are sensitive to noise.

The television is not working. Has image but no audio. 4 channel only. Wifi is weak.

Regardless, it is still a good hotel with good location. Small and cosy.

Checked out this hotel woth hubby, small room, decent and clean. Checking in was fast, only one floor so gotta use the stairs. No kettle in room, hot and cold water dispenser in corridor. Basic beverage provided. Bathroom - only 2 disposable toothbrush and a pump bottle of hair and body wash. Bed was on a raised platform and close to wall. My sleep was interrupted by 2 malay couples laughing out loud in next room!! Sound proofing was not good enough. Can even hear the guy burping! Then came the dreadful smell of smoke drifting into our room.. Why can't smokers go away and smoke elsewhere? I really wish the hotel would impose a fine to these inconsiderate smokers! Overall it would have been a great stay if there were no smoke and noisy next-door.

The hotel's location is good, which is around the tourist attraction and lots of cafe nearby. The room is small, which was expected before we checked in. The bed was clean. There was only one mirror inside the bathroom, which is not convenient. Suggest to have one mirror in the room as well.

The cleanliness and facilities of the bathroom really need to look into. There was mould on the curtain inside the bathroom. The toilet seat cover was cracked but no one cares. The handheld shower head was dented and the water splash all over when turn it on, which obviously cannot be used. The rain shower is working well but the drainage system is having a big problem with slow draining. The bathroom floods! So, even though the rain shower is with good water pressure, we only can turn it on with lower water pressure so that the bathroom will not be flooded so fast. Commented about the drainage problem to a male staff during check out.

The toilet roll should be placed at the other side of the toilet instead of at the curtain side. Feel insecure to use the toilet roll that was touching the curtain, as the curtain already showed it was dirty and with mould.
Mosquitoes and small insects were found inside the room.

Besides that, the room is really not soundproof at all. Could not sleep at night as people were shouting and vehicles pass by the main road during midnight.

Despite the above disappointments, one male staff of the hotel was quite friendly and helpful. It was raining during check out, he was kind enough to use umbrella to bring us into our car and help us bring the luggage to the car.

Terrible Experience.
Very loud pitter patter of rats in the ceiling, sounds like there are many!

Bathroom doesnt make sense, its a narrow long glass covered bit on the side but the shower is at the door, then the toilet and then the sink. So if you have to go to the sink, you walk thru the wet bathroom. Makes no sense.

Very loud until midnight.

No assistance with luggage.

On top of that the key card doesnt work until the 3rd try.

It has been a trying experience, and put us in a HORRIBLE mood :-( :-( :-(

Don’t be deceived the lovely entrance & doors. This is a basic 1 star hotel. ‘Deluxe’ rooms are very small and directly on street. Mould in bathroom. No glasses, no cups, no kettle, no shampoo. Terrible quality, service and lack of facilities for the price. 3 stars advertised is simply a lie. Shameful.

Cozy and clean hotel, but what a sleepless nightmare!!! The music club in the street is pumping the volume like they're playing into the room. The walls are somehow inexhisting and I can hear people talking loudly in the hall 1 floor below. The stairs are noisy and people are going up and down all the night, using the free coffee area like a bar. I usually sleep everywhere and in every condition... it's unbelievable.
Do yourself a favor, choose another place to stay in George Town.

We stayed here for 2 nights.
The location is great, 5-10 min walk to Love Lane.
There is a great food place just opposite.

Room was cleaned both days, large bed which was comfy, great aircon too.
They have complimentary coffee & hot choc in the communal area which is a nice touch.
The staff were very friendly & helpful.

Only gripe was the WiFi in the room didn't work, it was perfect in the lobby and even outside.

Would def stay there again.

Beautiful hotel at the centre of Penang near to Muntri Street. The architecture of this hotel will reminiscing the old era of Penang. Cons of this hotel are small and not soundproofing. Pros are beautiful, friendly staff, have convenience store next door at the hotel, have roof garden. Overall is OK.

Stayed 4 nights with my wife and very boisterous little boy, the rooms are very comfortable and clean, there’s free coffee and drinking water, there’s a handy convenience store next door, it’s well located for eating out and the staff were great. There can be a little noise on the street at night but that’s pretty normal for most of the hotels in Georgetown, it’s a busy little town.

Stay here only one night and have to check out early around 6am.
The location is very good , near from everywhere in Georgetown. Near from some reccomended street food like Nasi Kandar Line Clear, Soup Hameed, Roti Bakar Hutton Lane, Famous Ice Cendol etc. Walking distance to some popular place to visit.
The building is so heritage, I love it.
The reception, chinese guy wearing glasses is very friendly and helpfull.
I love the bathroom, so unique.
