Detailed Reviews
I was looking for accommodation that is near to the Heritage area and found this hotel. The location is very good. You are almost at the central of many things. Going to Penang is about enjoying their food and within 500m you can get so many choices from local, fusion and international.
You get everything for a home, fully equipped kitchen except for a diswasher. An induction hob and a microwave is provided complete with pot and pans. So if you wish to cook, just go to nearest market and buy the ingredients. There is a two door refrigerator and not the usual mini bar fridge. No need to go to laundry, they give a washing machine in the unit. Super convenient if you plan to stay longer.
The unit is spacious for a family of four but there is only one room with queen bed. So the kids can sleep with extra mattress or at the couch. Wifi is present but not as fast but good enough for you to browse and read email.
One issue that will be a challenge is parking space. The hotel is a converted shoplot next to a busy street, so the authority has removed the parking in order to widen the road. You can go and park by the road side at the smaller street. A bit problem during day time but not really an issue after 7pm. If you are not driving, then no issue at all.
Overall, it is a good place and value for money.

Great location! Lotsa great food down the streets and it is just a stone throw away! The hotel reception Irfan checked us in. He was nice, humble and pleasant. Same goes to the rest of the reception and housekeeping staff. Clean, doesn’t have any funny smell including the fridge and washing machine. Water pressure is good too!!! The washing machine and big fridge is convenient for us needing to store lots of water and does our sweaty laundry! Highly recommended! The noise from the main road is tolerable. No complaints about that. Overall, we had a good 5 nights stay at this hotel. 👍🏼

Very spacious and comfortable one-bedroom suite. Great shower. The washing machine was a bonus and came in handy. Good location. The suite was quiet even located on a busy street. Walking distance to everything in Georgetown. Friendly staff.
A deposit was required at check-in and we received the refund at the time of check-out.

Booked the one bedroom suite which is a great size at a good location nearby Chinatown. However, immediately felt unwelcomed upon our arrival by John..a fat Indian guy who was so cold throughout my check in. Hope management looks into his unruly behaviour. He looked like he doesnt wanna work at all.

My family and I enjoyed a wonderful stay at Hutton Central Hotel II! It was the perfect place to reside during our first trip to Georgetown- close to local cultural sights, markets, shops and amazing food stalls and cafes (most of which could be accessed by walking or a short car ride)! Our rooms were comfortable, clean and chic. Iqbal, Thilip, Selva Kumar and all the staff were very helpful and did whatever they could to make our stay as comfortable and pleasant as possible. We would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone

Front facade looks like the usual renovated heritage shophouses.
Step inside, and be surprised by the chic building starting with the reception.
The efficient receptionist brings us to our suite, and we are wonderfully surprised even more. Fully equipped and very comfortable, this is truly accommodation that beats the usual city hotel.
And they even have complimentary gourmet coffee at reception too.

Good location in Georgetown, walking distance to a lot of food and shopping. Grab car is easily available just in front of your room. Room is value for money with all facilities you need and very clean. We had no issue with Karaoke downstair. Staff is good and friendly. Only negative points are hot shower not so good and tv channel is too limited

+1
Not a typical HOTEL, more like (high end) INN or MOTEL or SHOPHOUSE. Location is along a super busy main road, it can be very noisy! Reception is small but staffs are friendly.
There is a "24 hours" mini mart at the hotel but it was closed at ?9pm! Walking distance to local food stalls and nearest shopping mall - Komtar Mall and 1st Avenue Mall which is also connected to ICT Digital Mall@Komtar and Prangin Mall, is just 4-5mins drive away. Nearby to some attraction, too. Grab is easy here! Free wifi. No gym, No swimming pool. Elderly and disabled unfriendly!
What I love is the cosy and super spacious room, consider it as One Bedroom Apartment - come with King and Queen size bed, full kitchette with mini fridge and washing cum dryer machine!
Reasonable size toilet cum bathroom with rain shower, water pressure is good but water temperature can be unstable! Has a big outdoor balcony, find it useless unless you smoke! Aircon is powerful! Room decor and finishing is relatively clean!
Will I recommend to friends? Maybe, for those with big family BUT THINK TWICE if you have children/elderly/ people with problem climbing stairs and if you are light sleeper, do avoid!!its really noisy!!
Personally I am NOT coming back not because the "hotel" but the noise!

Absolutely loved the layout and the atmosphere to the hotel. Our room was relatively quiet despite being on the sidewalk. Good location and the little convenience store was indeed a convenience. We absolutely loved the interior design of our room. Will definitely go back there.
