Booked a 4 days 3 nights stay on AirAsia SNAP deals. Package came with return flights and accomodation. Decided on Travelodge due to its location. Days before our trip we were informed by AirAsia that our flights from Langkawi to Penang has been cancelled and the hotel bookings too. I managed to talk to Kai Jin of Travelodge and she was most helpful to help check our booking status for the room as one of our friend who has booked together with us for this trip but staying at a different hotel had their room cancelled and they had to rebooked and incurred additional charges. We finally have our flights rescheduled and Kai Jin reassured us that our room is confirmed as per booking with no additional charges. This is a great start even before we arrive. She even let us check in early as we had an early flight. Thanks Kai Jin! When we arrived, the front office staffs were amazing;super friendly, courteous and we were promptly checked in. Room is clean and spacious. What was lacking was not providing drinking glasses in the room. We also had a neighbour whom had their TV on from afternoon till the next day and it was very annoying hence we didn't sleep well on the first night. Thanks to the good people at the reception who told us they will inform our neighbour about it or if not we may get a room change. Thankfully it didn't went that far as when we came back in the afternoon, it was all nice and quiet. For those who are planning to stay here, best to ask for a corner room and on a higher floor as that will help with the noise of the traffic below and also it eliminate one neighbour. The walls between the rooms are quite thin. Overall we had a good experience here and we will come back again. Thanks to the great people of Travelodge namely Muru, Aznie, Fung and the friendly security Uncle Lim and Bimal. Kudos!

Along the MCO everyone have been stay in as to stay safe. Manage to sneak out for staycations as have completed 2 dose of vaccination and came cross this hotel. It does looks old but they do consistently maintain with all the basic necessities provided. Room is clean and even you don't wish to have any room service, can feel free to inform the reception or hung up the do not disturb card. Feel safe as the staff did do sanitize when they make up my room....will recommend to my friend and worth with the price.

I had made a right decision to stay in Travelodge Georgetown for my 5 nights trip. The hotel is located at the city center (20-+ minutes from the airport by grab) and surrounded by so many good foods with walking distance! The room is with window and super clean. They have provided hand soap, hair shampoo & shower gel and the toothbrush is upon request. 1 minute walk to Healthland massage center if you feel tired of your trip which is super convenient! The room is spacious and you have what you need in the room! The aircon is super cold and i am quite impressive that Travelodge Georgetown is a environmental friendly hotel which do not provide bottled mineral water. Empty water Jar will be provided in the room to get the filter water near to the elevator (Good idea!). The hotel have a basic gym room and also a mini swimming pool which is ideals for a business traveler to relax. Breakfast will be send to the room.I Feel like a home during my stay. The reception is very nice and Friendly. Thanks to Mum who checked me in with a very clear and professional instructions. Thanks to Mary for making sure my stay is comfortable and memorable! I will definitely come back again. You will not regret to stay at Travelodge Georgetown during your Penang Trip. High Recommended! ^^ See you sooon...... (Kindly enjoy the photos I have uploaded!.

Perfect location. Accessible to everything you need. Staffs are very friendly. This hotel is so far my favourite accommodation due to it’s cleanliness, comfortable bed & pillows that make you feel really at home. Housekeeping staffs are superb, they know what they’re doing.

2nd time here. Reception professional and pleasant, hassle free. They try to accommodate my requests.
Lifts require key card scan to the floor, nice layer of security.
Room clean and functional. One gets the amenities similar to more expensively priced hotels including minibar and the soft thin slipper (don’t know what you call it). No bottled water but dispensers on every floor, I don’t like it but no big deal I got my own water.
Most important for me, windows can be opened halfway, critical for ventilation due to covid situation and have supply of fresh air into the room.
I took the room only package. Who needs breakfast when the food court literally 30-40 steps to the left provides great local fare options. Very value for money to my mind.
Limited parking at front apparently there are parkings at the back but I think limited. I wouldn’t drive to this hotel and tight parking spots not for me. That should not be a deterrent though as for the price and value, there is not many hotels that can rival Travelodge in my view.
All in highly recommended.

Rooms were clean and neat. Housekeeping staff were pleasant. Simple amenities and staff were professional. Good location for food. Travelodge Penang is ideal for business and also family holidays as i stayed there before with my family and the family room is value of money. The swimming pool was great and my children enjoyed. I have stayed there several occasions since 2020.

I stayed at Travelodge Georgetown for one night on the first week of October. Arrived at the hotel, greeted by the security/concierge with a smile and check in was smooth. The room is very clean, big and comfortable. Never got a chance to dine as the restaurant is closed due to MCO. The location is in the middle so its convenient to go anywhere and many hawker stalls nearby. Overall, its a good place to stay. The staff was very friendly and made me feel welcome. Thank you for your great hospitality ! Will come back next time.
