88 Armenian Hotel garners high praise for its luxurious ambiance and exceptional service that includes unique amenities such as a bath butler. Guests have called out the well-appointed and spacious rooms, complete with high-quality furnishings and modern conveniences. The cleanliness, particularly of the modern bathrooms, earns rave reviews. While its prime George Town location is popular among travelers, some caution that parking can be tricky. Despite this, the hotel's blend of historical charm, strategic location, and reasonable pricing is consistently appreciated by guests.

This hotel is in the centre of the tourist district in Georgetown. All restaurants, shops and art work are close by.

The signature of the hotel is the bathtub which they will prepare for you to luxuriate in herbs and salts for complete relaxation.

Breakfast alternately western and oriental are really good and plentiful.

The beds are enormous and extremely comfortable. There are many modern touches which are amazing. The free minibar includes beer and soft drinks and lovely teas.

The staff are very friendly and communicative by whatsapp.

Will definitely stay again when in Penang.

We have been to Georgetown but we have never stayed in such an amazing hotel surrounded by so much culture and heritage, much to see and do just within walking distance. The hotel itself and the hotel team were amazing, with such attention to detail and care, bath butler service plus specially brewed iced tea & evening snacks and different breakfast served on our 3D/2N there. 5-star at its best.

Stepping in off Armenian Street we were initially grateful for the amazing air conditioning and welcoming staff. It is definately an escape from the heat and bustle of George Town. If you have the opportunity to stay here take it!

88 Armenian exudes luxury beyond that of larger five star hotel chains. The interior design is bespoke from the baths to the coat hangers and the additional extras are so thoughtful. A menu from which you can choose the bath salts to be used when a bath is run for you, gorgeous Aesop toiletries, complimentry minibar and such a comfy bed. Right in the heart of George Town and directly across from our favourite Kopi and steam buns the location was perfect.

It was really so great to escape the heat in such a beautiful space. We travelled with our parents and it was heart warming to see how generous the team at 88 Armenian were to them. They are having the holiday of their lifetime and a big part of it is due to our experience at 88 Armenian.

If you are looking for luxury in Penang, this is where you will find it.

Our stay was made especially delightful due to the excellent hospitality provided by the guest service personnel; Sky. The room and facilities were top notch and they also provided a free bath butler service with Aesop amenities. The food was fantastic too. Highly recommended and we’ll definitely stay here again.

What a great experience! The suite I was in was simply amazing and so comfortable, you’d never want to leave the room. The room comes with a bath and bath service, perfect to end the night with.

Overall, great ambience, amazing decor, great service and very comfortable!

This little boutique hotel is located at the historical highlights of Penang. The hotel building itself is history in its own right, renovated with the highest quality served by a small but highly professional team of staff members. Watch out for the variety of local gourmandises for breakfast. The colours and tastes will blow your mind away. The large white bathroom can still your time away from the interesting visits at almost your doorstep. Don’t miss 88 Armenien. Be there even if you are not Armenien!

Nice stay and good service. Beautiful room with unprecedented luxury. Breakfast was delicious and lacked nothing. We really enjoyed it here and could always ask anything. We had parked the car incorrectly and they even picked it up for us and put it in the correct parking space.

I had a truly memorable stay at 88 Armenia Penang. The loft was wonderfully spacious, and the bathroom setup was impressive. We were pampered with the finest amenities, and the staff, especially KC the matre d, were exceptionally helpful. Belinda patiently planned our street food journey, making our overall experience truly unforgettable.

We had a great stay at the 88 Armenian! Great location and interesting building. Highlights were the bath butler, the breakfast, and the handwritten notes and treats from the staff. (Yes, you can really ask for a bath to be ready for you upon your return every evening!) We found the stay so relaxing and enjoyable that we framed one of the "good night" notes from the staff above one of our nightstands.

Stayed here for 7 nights with my girlfriend in the Rodin Room and was impressed from the minute we arrived. The hotel itself is situated in the historic heart of George Town, making it perfect for sightseeing and strolls around the city. The building is a renovated heritage site with only six rooms. Ours was huge, wonderfully lit and featured a spacious bathroom with full size bath. The service was impeccable - particularly from Sky, the Bar Manager - and we enjoyed having breakfast each day in the hotel's stylish restaurant. The owner and staff had clearly thought about every detail. A most memorable experience.
