I had a great stay here. I was in a 4-bed mixed dorm and thankfully had good roommates. The hostel is close to the action, but doesn't have noise. Not at all a party hostel, be warned. The breakfast was really good - toast, sausages, roti chanai, curry and eggs. It\s right in the middle of Georgetown and close to...

Place was clean and the rooms were well managed. You get to have your own light and charging stations with three hubs and 1 usb so you won't need to stand or leave the bed and disturb other guests. I think the problem was that the body wash dispenser was not replenished for two days but there was shampoo in...

First of all this hostel had about 20-25 children staying here running around and screaming at all hours of the day. The "chillax zone" where you are clearly supposed to "chillax" was anything but.. as this is where the childrens' rooms were where they would just be running around in the hall or banging and yelling in the rooms. I...

A friend and I stayed at the Ryokan Muntri Boutique Hostel for two nights and had an overall pleasant stay. There is ample common areas to hang out and relax and in general the rooms and bathrooms were always clean. They had a fairly large selection for breakfast both mornings with a slightly different menu each day. The best part...

I spent a night at Ryokan with a few friends and was quite pleased to find it much nicer than many of the hostels I've stayed at previously. The rooms and bathrooms were clean. The showers were hot, and the AC cold. The free breakfast in the morning was delicious, and had a wider spread than other hostels in the...

Can't recommend this place enough. Whether you are new to hostel stays or a veteran of the backpacking scene, you should check this place out. The price may not be as dirt cheap as some others in the area but the place is clean and quiet, does a good breakfast, has a friendly staff (say hi to Sean for me!),...

This hostel is in the heart of Penang. Near a lot of local shops, street food, coffee shops, bars and attractions. It's at an affordable price and they have a free buffet style breakfast every morning that's amazing! Clean and comfy rooms. Not the best place to meet people, but great for recharging and seeing Penang!

We had a really nice stay here. The stuff were awesome and we could store our luggage there for 3 days while we slept at the monkey beach in the national park. The beds are comfortable and the showers are clean. They have also a awesome breakfast.

Thank Florus W
