The hotel is very basic. You have your own room but most bathrooms are shared. If you have a big group, bring a multi-socket as there is only one power outlet in the room. It may be abit hard to find at first, as the hotel is hidden behind some buildings on the main road. The location is great as...

I looks nicer on the Internet. Room was small and nit that clean. Bathroom was more like a shower with sink and toilet as the shower head was almost over the toilet! TV not working. Hostel value with hotel price! Good location for local food and street art and Georgetown nightlife. Wouldn't recommend it to anyone as there are better...

I drove from Singapore and hotel have enough parking space to accommodate the driving guests. Hotel is in middle of tourist attractions and rate is cheap. But we do not expected get shared bathroom and toilet. (It is due to not reading clearly during the booking.) Room are normal, and shared bathrooms and toilets are clean. I do not recommend...

We booked a place on a friend's recommendation that turned out to be a budget hostel. Not what we wanted. For a few dollars more we booked at Chulia Heritage and got So So much more. A very nice hotel with very nice rooms, private bath, AC, Comfort. Spend the extra $7!! Jeesh.

overall clean and comfortable room with affordable price. Room sound proof system is bad. It's quite annoying that can always hear sound from outside the room. Air conditional blow directly on face that bring a little minus point to this hotel. Need to take off the shoes if stay at second floor.

After spending some time hiking and vaguely roughing it in Langkawi we decided to treat ourselves to some bargain hotel luxury action. For the money and from what we have become accustomed on our trip to date we found the Chulia ticked all the boxes in this regard. Very clean, excellent aircon and wifi although weird bathroom layout (what is...

Really nice and peaceful budget hotel located slightly off Chulia Street. Parking would be a chore as there are only a limited number of places. But room-wise, it was clean and spacious (we had a triple room). The only drawback was that the toilet/shower was small, every time you take a shower, the sink, the toilet and everything else gets...

Good stay there, overall is good, very clean. Strategic location, you can get nice local foods just few minutes of walk, happening bars at night, all within walking distance, and there is one laundry shop just opposite the hotel! Only downside is the thin wall where u can hear noises at night. Will definitely back again if i ever visit in Penang!

Fantastic stay - please ensure you have RM50 deposit per room and RM2 Government tax ready in cash. The room is clean and aircon working find. Exterior building is well maintained with great security guard. Very convenient and local access to Love Lane.

The room was good and clean.. We had never stayed in a not attached bathroom but the experience was really good as the bathroom were clean and safe to use.. Value for money.. The interior is also beautiful.. Felt like staying in a huge bungalow..
