The hostel is in a really great location with all the main attractions in walking distant. However, that is as far as the complements go! The staff we very disorganised and when we arrived to check in for our four bed form there was already one person in there! This meant we had to wait a couple of hours for... More

This is a very cool place if you like to chill to reggae music in the sun. Drinks are okay and beers are a bit cheaper that the other places around it. I had the pizza and it was quite nice, properly the best pizza Ive had I Penang. Can definitely recommend

I was originally meant to stay here for 3 nights and extended to an extra two as I loved it so much. The beds are pod style with your own light and plug at your bed. The staff are amazing, so friendly and helpful and work so so hard! The breakfast is good with the basic toast, jam, boiled eggs... More

Nice owner and clean room in the backpacker district. Good reggae music all day long and terrace to chill. Plenty of bathroom available. They also can arrange visa for you. A nice play to stay in a busy district

Clue one, you are in Penang. Clue two, open your eyes and see a generic pizza and international backpackers smoking and drinking beer. Clue three, you hear a Jamaican lilt. Where are you? If it's Tuesday, then it's Love Lane. I didn't stay in this hip hostel, but did take a meal there simply to chill with the music. The... More

Good location close to restaurants, launderette and mini marts. The individual pods were great with comfy mattresses and were quite roomy. Cupboard could have done with being a bit bigger, air con was a welcome relief. Nice outdoor space on the balcony to sit. I didn't see any bed bugs or rats, found the place really clean just wish other... More

This is a great place to stay. I stayed in a 4 beds dorm. Every bed is shaped as a pod. Locker is under the bed, as always, bring your own padlock. AC was working good. Dorm was facing the street, a bit traffic noise and some music from the bar downstairs in the evening but the bar didn't stay... More

As the title says 'BED BUGS' unless you want an itchy departure find somewhere else. On a plus note the atmosphere is great and the staff friendly and will direct you anywhere but please clean and sort out the bed bug problem.

“The top bunks are a bit of hassle when moving up and down. There's not much space in the room for your bags. Therefore, you'll probably have to keep your bags on your bed bunk. If you have a heavy bag and are in the unfortunate position of getting a top bunk, you might have difficulty getting it onto your bed. The rooms above the reception are have strong wifi but you'll have to deal with noise coming from the street.”
