A very memorable stay with my girlfriend. We stay in the studio premiere, the room got almost everything, like kitchen utensils, a large bathroom with appelles shampoo and body wash. They also served a birthday cake to someone who birthday.
Not very crowded for now, so you can really chill at the swimming pool.
Studio Premiere come with Breakfast, the breakfast also impressed me, because they do have herb jelly 🥰 (龟苓膏) and tau fu fa.
Nearby Ascott has plenty of local food, you wouldn’t say NO once you tried on Ascott Gurney Penang.
Sincerely hope the Ascott management team can continue maintain the cleanliness and ensure the kitchen utensils are clean in future 👍👍

Room was cleaned daily, local foods nearby, inhouse meals are tasty and inexpensive. Staff mbers are helpfull. Definitely a place for recovery from illness/post surgery. There is coin operated launderette

The premier studio has a long table for working and ample bathroom counter and cupboard space. Very polite and efficient front desk staff. We stayed in a twin deluxe studio and was happy with almost every aspect from location, staff, cleanliness, amenities etc. Special appreciation to Peggy, Wen and Rain for going out of their way to help and also allow us to extend check-out to 2pm. Perhaps worth a mention though is that the studio feels more like a normal hotel room rather than the usual service apartment we have come to associate Ascott with. There is a tiny ‘kitchen’ of sort with just a sink and a kettle, not even a bowl or bottle opener can be found.

This is an Excellent Experience provided by beloved Sharon 💗✨ Beloved Sharon arranged 2-bedroom apartments for the 5 of Us, It is truly blessed that we can stay together 💕 This is a very good arrangement from beloved Sharon and we could feel the Love from beloved so much. My family and I had a wonderful and pleasant stay at Ascott Gurney Penang. It was our first time to this hotel, and I would say that the services of all staff were impeccable and impressive. We were greeted by friendly and professional Concierge at the hotel and check in experience was streamline. The rooms including the bathrooms are very spacious and cleanliness was tip top. We booked two rooms in total for Studio Deluxe Twin for 2 single beds and Studio Deluxe for 1 King size bed. The beds for both rooms are very comfortable as well. In a continous effort towards greener environment, the hotel has implemented filtered tap at the rooms for drinking water instead of issuing plastic bottled water. I would like to praise management team for this as well. During our check out, the bell boy on duty has also helped us to load our luggages into the car. Lastly, a big shout out to Ascott Gurney Penang for making our stay a memorable one.

When I check in into the Ascott Gurney Hotel, if I ask any question to the receptionist of the hotel , they will answer me patiently and friendly. If the room of hotel is having some of problem like maybe WiFi problem, I only need to call to the reception counter, then they will listen my problem slowly and call thier staff to solve the problem as soon as possible.
Moreover, the location of Ascott Gurney Hotel is great which is at the town area (Gurney drive), easy to let me and my family to find the local food.
For the room of the hotel , it is new and clear. I can look the Sea View from my room, really beautiful.
Thank you so much for the Ascott team, will come back to stay inside the Ascott Gurney Penang again.

We have stayed multiple times, and attended a wedding at the Ascott. From the premier deluxe to the one-bedroom premier, every room was comfortable, clean, and had all of the amenities we needed. The hotel itself also has a nice gym, separate exercise room and a decent pool.
All this said, a highlight for us was the team at the Ascott, lead by Sharon. All of the staff at reception, and via email have promptly responded to requests, and have went above and beyond to ensure that we have a comfortable stay. Having stayed at G Hotel, Shangri-La and a couple of other 'premium' hotels in Penang, we can say that overall, The Ascott is the most comfortable stay. Great beds, quiet rooms and fantastic staff. That's all that we could ask for.

My friend and I spend our short holiday with Ascott Penang, where our hotel room can look at the scenic waterfront promenade that is among the most popular location in Penang; Gurney Drive. Our luxurious serviced apartments promise a convenient stay in the heart of Georgetown. Our room was clean and tidy by the hotel service crew and it made us feel "home" each time when we return from our outdoor activities or visit. The hotel location is perfect and very convenient for us just to slowly stroll down to the shopping malls, and eateries spot along the roadside. We truly enjoyed our short stay with Ascott Penang and can't wait to return again in the near future!
