The G-Inn is a nice, adequate, standard hotel to stay in Penang. I stayed in the “deluxe” room with 2 twins and had a perfectly fine stay. The Inn is located right outside Georgetown so it is a 25 minute walk or 10 minute Grab ride to the main Georgetown sights. I didn’t fine that too inconvenient and like the quiet. It is 10 minutes walking distance to Ah Teik’s famous durian store and some street food options. Checkin was straightforward and like other hotels required a passport / IC card and a credit card deposit. There was a security guard outside but I felt the area was very safe. The furnishings were basic and while the room was small, everything was clean and I had everything I needed. The hotel has a small cafe but I never used it. There is a small parking area that would fit a few cars for those who are renting a car. It also does have a snack section in the lobby to purchase drinks or microwave foods (rooms don’t have microwave it one is available in lobby I think). All in all, I would rate G-in. A perfectly fine hotel on the lower price range.

I stay at G Inn when I need parking and convenience. Check in and access to room is quick as it is only has 3 levels. The sheets and bathrooms are clean and room is not noisy. If you are looking for good value rooms, safe parking for your car and central but away from the noise, G Inn is a good option.

This is a nice clean budget hotel located in the centre of the city. Rooms are small with adequate amenities like a hot shower, fridge, hair dryer, coffee/tea making facilities, a flat screen TV with enough channels, a safe and even bedroom slippers. The air-con is nice and cool. There are a couple of coffee shops within walking distance offering a variety of hawker food for breakfast. In the evening, the selection is even better with many hawker centres located along the road leading towards Penang Road. Service is good and the staff are courteous and helpful. If you need a basic room just to spend a night or two, I recommend this hotel. There is no beach view, pool or additional facilities. Pricing is cheap, rooms are functional and clean and service so good.

I have stayed at this inn, several times. The reasonable room rates for a clean room, with clean bedsheets and bathroom is my priority. More ever, it is suitably located very near to Georgetown. There is a small parking place just right in front of the inn.For those who wish to exercise ( to make way for more food ), there is a walking distance ,jogging/multi purpose park behind this inn. Wifi is available Quiet surrounding, with flat TV, Panasonic split air-conditioning, small fridge No swimming pool ,no Gym , Sauna ,Jacuzzi ( naturally ) No laundry No room service There is a small coffee shop integrated in this inn, however, not frequent by guest (probably, many places to have your drinks and meals nearby)

Booked a twin sharing room for 2 nighys. We arrived at the hotel at 10am. Requested for early check in during booking and when we were there, the staffs were nice enough to store our luggage first and let us check in at 12pm instead of 2pm with no extra charges. Room was very clean and comfortable. Room size is decent. Good water pressure shower. Location of hotel is on a quiet street. There are a few hawker stalls nearby within 600m walking distance. 2 min walk away is a 7 eleven. Satisfied with room cleaning service too. Overall, it was a very satisfactory stay and pleasantly surprise at the hotel's good service. Would stay here again in the future. The only thing is, no toiletries are provided so one must bring their own. And the wifi is not consistent. Easily disconnected.

Conveniently close to the airport, this basic hotel offers all you need for a night in transit at a very reasonable price. As such it is popular with travellers and would be suitable for families as well as individuals travelling alone.
